I took a look at what a hypothetical WTA ‘Next Gen’ event might look like…. I think it’d be more interesting than the ATP edition!. Thoughts?.

For those Emma Raducanu fans, I can confirm she hit the court today. Was scheduled for an hour practice, but only spent half an hour on court. Barely moved or put weight on her ankle, but seemed happy enough with her progress. #raducanu #AO2023 #AustralianOpen

Interesting to see the comments around this. #Raducanu is paying her coach. If she wants to ask questions around her training/tactics, etc, she has every right. A quality coach should be able to clearly explain their reasons around coaching philosophies and techniques. #WTA.

The positives for Emma: .- She’s on court.- She has a full week to recover.- At one stage, the team wanted to stop, but she asked to finish the basket of balls.- The strapping was quite insignificant. - While in obvious discomfort, at no stage did she need to stop.
