I worked for many years in the NHS. If I had a quid for every patient who, when asked “ Are you allergic to anything?” Said “ Yes…Hospitals”. Then cracked up..honestly thought they were original.

If there’s anything that hacks me off more, it’s folk boasting and gloating. Before Covid I volunteered with Citizens Advice ( ironically now they’re trying to stop Face to Face walk ins ) , many clients had issues with IT and need help

Accidents and Emergencies always get a scan as they present. He could have had a bleed in the brain. Very unfortunately suspected cancers are seen as “ urgent” but not emergencies

Happens every day guide dogs are refused by taxi drivers. As Citizens Advice I had a taxi driver demand a translator in court and still say he wouldn’t, allow a dog in taxi. Shocking

I was an NHS manager. On the contrary, NHS is extremely lax on sickness, don’t even get me started in Pregnant women and sickness. 9 months off sick. Business wouldn’t put up with it

Well, I have worked many night shifts both single sex and mixed wards. I can tell you that both men and women do get confused and get in wrong beds ( occupied) causing great distress. So I wouldn’t be so keen to have you relative in mixed sex ward
