11 days ago (now deleted) Brain Sauve said that the Gospel is not believed until the commands that flow from it are obeyed. When called on it he said the Gospel itself was a command to be obeyed, that faith was obedience. It's "simple stuff," he wrote. So Brain, why deleted?

Toby Sumpter has learned the #moscowmove expertly. AKA "the Toby two step." Step 1 - claim the "Reformed" position and then define "Reformed" by your position Step 2 - admit it contradicts the actual Reformers but say they weren't Reformed enough (Calvin, Helvetic, Watson)

@CovenantReform2 @Jeff_Palouse Well, the CREC is weird there too. Unlike other Presbyterians, in the CREC, ordination is completely at the local level. Pastors are members of their congregations, not of Presbytery. Presbytery evaluates candidates and makes recommendations, but it can't ordain or defrock.

I would say..the Ashkenazi..they’re the kind of high performance non-xian people that would be driven crazy. I think Paul’s strategy for provoking them to jealousy was aimed at his people but even if they weren’t his kinsmen..anymore its a strategy that would work on those people

So the Father unique authority and the Sons unique response of obedience are due to their eternal origin and order. In other words, the Son is eternally subordinate by origin and order. But don't worry, I promise its not subordinationism. Sincerely, Doug Wilson.

@blakecallens Last attempt: "We deny that the authority of the Father and the “responses” of the Son and Spirit are according to essence, divinity, rank, or station, but rather that they are according to eternal origin, generation, procession, operation, and order."

@TJSumpter What it actually teaches, "We want God’s blessing in real time, prior to the resurrection, prior to heaven, and we do this in Covenant with God. And God pours his blessing out on us." - Doug Wilson on Postmillenialism

Only on TheoBro Red-Pill twitter "The Gospel guys made every sin equally bad; Homosexuality and gossip were conflated." But also, "You're a true degenerate if cart doesn't make it back to the cart corral. Western civilization hangs in the balance."

Interesting summary for the guy who believes the "Son is obedience" and the "Father is authority". His big retraction was to still teach subordination ad intra but to do it using different words. No lie. See "Triune Botherations".

For example, I have recently been harangued by certain Trinitarian “experts” who would have trouble finding their own rear ends, even if given half an hour and allowed to use both hands. 9/11
