The CREC seems to be more of an "association of churches" than a "denomination" if what is below is true.
Also, if what Rick says is true it is not Presbyterian in government by any stretch of the imagination.

Well, the CREC is weird there too.
Unlike other Presbyterians, in the CREC, ordination is completely at the local level. Pastors are members of their congregations, not of Presbytery.
Presbytery evaluates candidates and makes recommendations, but it can't ordain or defrock.

Interesting summary for the guy who believes the "Son is obedience" and the "Father is authority". His big retraction was to still teach subordination ad intra but to do it using different words. No lie. See "Triune Botherations".
