The number of people saying “we told you we’d keep murdering babies if you didn’t let us legally murder babies” is astounding to me.
This newborn baby was found in a dumpster in Houston, Texas.

Communion. A bit fussy going up, was calmed during the blessing, but screamed all the way back. Had to literally leave the church with him 😅 But you know what? After, everyone simply asked if he was ok.

I once received this advice. My future husband had to be “settled” before we got married. If that were the case, we still wouldn’t be married and have three beautiful children. Life is an adventure, and you miss it if you keep waiting for it to be over and settled.
If he can’t buy me a house I’m not interested.

Literally everyone in a loving marriage says “I wish I’d married my spouse sooner.” I was 21 and Josh was 23 when we got married. I still wish we’d married the summer before just to have those few extra married months together.
This is such a sad response to people saying they wish they had married their spouse sooner.

I remember a prof being shocked that I was more focused on being a wife and hopefully a mom instead going on to grad school. 7 years, 5 books, and 3 kids later, I wouldn’t make a different choice. You can do great things as a woman, and one of the best things is being a mom.
I attended the Shakespeare Association of America conference 8 months pregnant. there, a mentor of mine I hadn’t seen for a while looked me up & down w disgust & said “I’m so disappointed in you” at least three times.

We visited this little LCMS church for the second time this week. It’s about half an hour away, tucked in the middle of a few beautiful lakes. The drive is peaceful, reminiscent of Michigan. It’s a small church. With us, I don’t think we made 50 people in the sanctuary.
