I went with the wife to Pride out of support for our son. I found it very OTT 'in your face' exhibitionism. It's certainly not family fun. Plus I got told off in the Pride Shop for not knowing which 'flag' our boy was. Apparently 'I Think He's A Normal One' was the wrong answer..

I witnessed first hand when my eldest was at primary school his classmates celebrating 9/11. The school was mainly Bangladeshi kids in the East End. They'd have their own children now. They were 6 and 7 year olds at the time. Prejudice and hate is off the scale with many Muslims

My son went to a junior school in Aldgate. All but a tiny few in his class were non Bangladeshi. After 9/11 these kids were celebrating in class. My boy didn't understand why, they were 7 year old children. Now these kids have grown up and no doubt taught their own the same hate.

There was always 15 minute towns for people when I grew up. Every kid I knew lived within 10 mins walk from school, dad was 4 stops on the tube from his job in the City and mum could walk to the shops or market easily. What you lot want is serfdom. No choice in how people wish to
