Highly inappropriate comment to make considering that's your coworker and not your buddy from high school. There's something called Professional etiquette n you clearly lack that.

Why do I get thevibe that Jack is the one getting played here ? He sounds earnest while Musk comes across as someone wanting to steal an idea or something, lol.

Nancy being ruthlessly pragmatic is what kept her in that position for so long. Gotta admire her instincts. She made the right call.

Lack of acknowledgment when someone does something nice or kind comes from a place of exaggerated self worth & narcissim. Ex for a reason.

If it's that bad then how come a lot of Muslim men and women move to the West to degenerate themselves? We are not living in an isolated world and this is not 7th century AD. If Saudi doest embrace modernity, there will be an uprising sooner or later & MBS knows that very well.

I LOLed at "how antisemitic modern left is"
Have you read any of the batshit crazy antisemitic stuff far right MAGA clowns spew on X? They see Jewish conspiracy in everything.

🤣🤣🤣 Boomers always do this. A coworker of mine shared a Babylon Bee article and went on a big rant on Facebook thinks it's true. He had to take it down after folks told him it's a satire.

Chill, it's the kind of thing that cousins are expected to do. A little harmless banter ain't gonna hurt anyone. Shows how good a relationship they have.

What's kinda unfair is how Lizzo is being thrust in to these culture wars and discussions for no fault of hers while she is just being herself and concentrating on her career. She doesnt deserve this bullying.
@BigDaveMartel
That's bad.
Unlike them, I tip 20% minimum because I Love subsidizing their poor career choices, and being disturbed while I am in the middle of chewing my food. I mean who doesn't?? Most of the waters also seem too neutered to ask for decent pay is even cuter.
@lyndonbajohnson
True. It's easy for people to forget that she had a long career as senator and holding public offices in CA before taking up the role as the VP. Hard to accomplish all of that without discipline.

A friend who came back from San Juan a week ago described the city to be "pretty banged up". Wonder if that's despite the "incredibly successful" response as the Prez described.

I am glad Quinta is being smart in picking her battles. If anything,she's won more hearts by taking the high road. Twitter did all the roasting Kimmy deserved.
Emmy is just the beginning to what can be an amazing career. Quinta definitely has both the temperament and talent.

On brand for Republicans, isn't it ? All you peasants need to pick yourselves up from the boot straps while I make use of the system n dismantle it before anyone else can use it.

Tennis was also exclusively very White and European until William Sisters came along. So those gatekeeping the sport felt threatened by the sheer talent and the racism was just something that William sisters had to endure.

Asking for a raise is a uniquely American trait. Some cultures are not built that way. It's just a difference in approach. I'd rather not ask for a raise and would like for employers to set up a system where employees are evaluated on yearly basis and rewarded appropriately.

Yesterday, I got to know that a wonderful coffee shop (run by middle aged couple) that's been open since 2013 in Conroe, TX is now closed for good coz of the indefinite shutdown. Several such stories we are going to hear.
@nathanallebach
It's not in the DNA of Americans to opt for housing arrangement like this. Surely, this may work in the big cities for single folks. I dont see this as option for folks w/kids who like a bit more privacy for their family.

Replies to this thread are a proof that Brits want to have the cake and eat it too. Stay out of the EU while craving for all the benefits of being in the EU. Want to control the borders, but cry non stop every day about economic downturn a result of the Brexit.

Seeing how Scandinavians put their points across, I'd be surprised if they knew what speaking etiquette actually entails within the US work space. Danes and Norwegians are blunt to the point of coming across as rude.

Cops should be blamed for the current mess totally. If you dont act like a KKk member when arresting a Black guy then you wouldnt have to worry about using force when the riots break out.
A few bad apples but severely rotten ones have brought the city to standstill.

That's not Bindi. And the one on Trump Jr 's forehead is called "Tilak" adorned by men. It's auspicious and the belief is it wards off evil & bring good luck. It's a way of welcoming guests too.

Can Europeans/Americans think of ever talking about anything dysfunctional in their own countries without insulting developing nations? It's just so offensive and classist.

Attacks like these aren't a new phenomenon. Gas stations and grocery stores around them have never been safe. Indian students should not be seeking employment outside the campus. They're not only violating the Visa rules but also putting their own lives in danger.

Danny, You're the man with the golden touch. Every single stock you've been bullish about for months is performing extremely well. I've never been more impressed with someone's wisdom among fintwit crowd than yours.

Data incentivizes that because other than the illegal immigration, which the US chooses to look the other way when needed, all other forms of immigration are contingent upon you proving to your worth to the Homeland & jumping hoops and loops to get in.
@FintwitPeaked
Well to be honest fintwit 'celebs' & grown up men acting like teenage girls gossiping & dunking on each other is the most perplexing thing that I have observed. Why is investing treated like a zero sum game ?
Any Indian student planning to move abroad for higher education should check how many Indian students that university has. The more the number of Indian students, the lower that university should be on your list of places to join.
A big Indian community of students doesn’t come

This garbage being sold for insane amounts of money is only possible when there is some kind of money laundering involved and the painting/art gallery is just a facade.
@ianbremmer
Ian, it would be unfair to club Modi with the leaders of Brazil and the US. Modi was following the advise of health experts. He just miscalculated that country was done with covid after cases plummeted. In the hindsight that's where he fumbled.
The one thing I am envious of is the knowledge & the know-how that American dads pass on to their sons on how to use different tools, fixing your own stuff without depending on handymen, taking pride in accumulating tools in garage. Very underrated and under appreciated.

Gonguras don't eat as much gongura to be called gongura. Whereas sambars eat sambar every single day that it warrants them being called sambar.
I lived in a house full of sambars for 2+ yrs- so I know my sambars well 😅

I feel like it's the lower income neighborhoods which will bear the brunt of these outages running in to days. Most people I know have power.
Pretty damn interesting observation on the probability of China invading Taiwan. I too tend to believe that China is more of a all bark and no bite against big powers.
Re Taiwan/China: I have been asked what is my 'position' on China & Taiwan. Herewith a brief thread on the matter, as an Australian, but, also, as, hopefully, a sober realist of military affairs. This is just my opinion & am happy to be wrong (well, not to a nuclear escalation).
With so much propaganda against Indian govt action on Kashmir in the American Press, this video should put things in perspective on why India has always been right regarding Kashmir.
VIDEO: 🇮🇳 Hundreds of people in Indian Kashmir shout anti-US slogans during a demonstration in the Muslim-majority region within hours of American forces killing Iran's most powerful military commander, General Qasem

Online Right is a bunch of lazy, jobless whiners and losers.
The Right you meet in real life are not as paranoid and joyless as these basement dwellers.
Your country is assassinating military leaders of other country to protect its citizens. But, lecturing others on how to or how not to safeguard their own interests. Hypocrisy much !
It's significant that State is voicing these concerns-which it has been expressing for many weeks-even after the US ambassador to India participated in the recent visit to

Real policy changes in Kashmir, more than dog and pony shows there, will ease global criticism.
