Well. By way of update. 2 years on, after defending their right to refuse service to those who cannot, or struggle to use the phone, on the day of the final hearing, @Halfords_uk and I came to a settlement, a settlement where neither party admitted any fault but one where.
@blackshadowtune @Halfords_uk @HalfordsGarages Their head office told me that although they had taken my disability into "full consideration" that if I wanted them to repair my car that "they would require telephone communication*

@crappyliving Both times I've called my GP practice to let them know I'm pregnant the receptionists said something along the lines of "are you looking to speak with a midwife regarding moving ahead with the pregnancy or would you like to speak to a doctor about your other options?" I felt safe.

@implausibleblog Wow. I'm in no way religious but if anyone wants to pray during their lunch break that's up to them it's not for anyone to dictate whether or not they can do this. I can't stand this woman she is just cruel for the sake of being cruel.

@stevenperkins 'for children under the age of 18'. As opposed to children over the age of 18 and adults under the age of 18?. It's a really short sentence and they managed to make a right mess of it π.

@PolitlcsUK @christopherhope You know what would be hilarious, if it did go to a vote of no confidence and all other parties abstained so every single vote would just be them, and they could all look at eachother looking at the big steaming mess they've all gotten themselves into.

@PeterStefanovi2 But if they're 18 they're adults so surely the government should come after them and realise you can't get blood out of a stone. They can't have it both ways e.g. 16 year olds can't have the vote they're children but 18 year olds who likely wouldn't be able to pay a government.

@AnonymousUK2022 I said this to my husband yesterday that they need to be requesting that Amazon releases the data of anyone thats purchased a balaclava in the last week or so but this is actually a much easier and less administratively nightmarish given that a % of these people have bought them.

@RichardJMurphy I think this is a really good outcome, Tories out and Labour know that nothing is guaranteed in 5 years they know they have to work to keep it as much like the 2019 election an important % of this win was protest votes moving away from Tories which could revert if Labour dont.

@RussInCheshire I don't want kids to have to be moved schools if their parents can't afford prices but what I do take issue with is the media hysteria over the potential that people may no longer be able to afford a luxury that the majority of the country cannot afford whilst at the same time.

@TiceRichard @reformparty_uk Well since the outcome of the election is so set in stone then surely the Tories could save the school by not bothering to campaign for 6 weeks and instead making a donation. @dave43law @trussliz @JDVance1 I think the issue with people Truss, Braverman and Badenoch is that they seem like they will say whatever their backers want them to say without realising that if we dissolve human rights, getting rid of EDI etc that they're fighting to draw the short straw in society. @PolitlcsUK @AnushkaAsthana If 61 is too old to effectively do your job then maybe the Tories need to rethink their rethink their retirement age plans and their work capability assessment structure coz if being over 60 automatically means you can't effectively do your job then I guess there's some people.
