Just co-consulted a young patient with Duchenne's about initiating treatment with a new drug, a few years back we would've just silently observed his disease progress!

always thought this is a myth and I know a med school that keeps a spreadsheet where students tend to update whatever questions they can recall and a lot of questions do get repeated.
P.s I did not have access to any such document, I had passed all my exam before I came to know!

Thank you for guiding me. I am an old graduate, Non US Img, average scores in Step 1,2 and 3, currently pursuing a telegeriatric fellowship at MSU. USCE of almost 18 months- 8 months inpatient rest is outpatient. How would you recommend i should plan out approaching 2025 cycle?

I was diagnosed with GDM and then later developed PIH, there is definitely not enough literature on CV risks with GDM.
I would really like to know more about your findings.

Apply to seattle children hospital through their portal...they are pretty responsive...and try to get any phsyician to sponsor you.
Drop off a few copies of your resume and reach out to their office managers

Ahhhh everyone makes breastfeeding sound like a walk in the park!
I found it way more difficult than my pregnancy.
Definitely an advocate for breastfeeding, but its not an easy task. Takes a toll on mama's physical and mental health!

I have tears in my eyes.
So sorry for your loss.
I also lost my grandmother after a long battle in the hospital. Each day made it worse, everytime I hear the cardiac monitor go in an ICU, I think about the time she was in the hospital, having a code run on her frail body.

That's true, but sometimes the physician would give u access to their account or one of their interns for a little while, talk to your attending, see if something works out for u

There cannot be a more difficult time for a physician...saving their patients' life at an expense of going to the jail
To my colleagues in Ohio, Wisconsin, and Missouri who are on call this weekend—I will be crying for you when that bleeding and septic miscarriage, previable PEC/PPROM comes in, ectopics etc.
My friends are choosing between jail and leaving a woman to die.

match 25 FM and IM applicant-
Having USCE with hospitalist and PCP and LoRs from IM attendings look bad on my application for FM.
with yog>5yrs, and avg scores what really will help with increasing my chance for an interview.

How important is it to get the deans letter? I know a lot of programs leave it as an optional document, went unmatched last year so I don’t want to take any risks for this match..but my YOG will be 6 years now
