Local car park next to the field where the drowning cows & calves had to be rescued, next to the care home that the fire brigade had to help evacuate with a boat. Worst floods ever. Last year we had the worst severe drought & wildfires ever. #climatechaos can you see it yet? 🙄

@Schreiberland As a kid I had an invisible soldier friend in old red tunic uniform, he lived behind the wardrobe & would come out & join me for tea parties. The house was used by the local regiment in the early 1800s & a soldier had drowned in our pond. My mother filled it in & he was gone.

I fed him & tried to look after him for the day before I could get him to the vet but knew they would probably put him down so took him back to say goodbye to his friends 😢😢😢.

@Natasha_Walter Yep, we have 12 acres including wildflower, nettle & thistle areas which are usually thrumming with insect life at this time of year but insects are very sparse. Plenty of spiders & a fee meadow browns are about but very very few bees.

@RachelConnoll14 Yep. Watched a young male friend of the family becoming radicalised online along QAnon lines, proper disturbing. He lost his long term partner over it, I kept engaging with him gently & he did come back from the brink eventually for whatever reason so I’m glad I did!.

This is a friend of my sister. He's an accredited press photographer, not a protestor. It is deeply alarming that under this govt we no longer have freedom of the press where any sort of climate protest is involved. Can y'all see how powerful fossil fuel interests are yet? #Cop27.

It doesn't look 'pretty' but here's our flood meadow doing what it's supposed to, holding millions of litres of water back from flooding the villages downstream. We've had help from the Environment Agency to get it to hold more. They aren't to blame for climate chaos flooding 🙄

They did the same with the art factory before the last rebellion, confiscated as much of our stuff as they could, arrested the rebels they caught, it kept them off the street during the next day, then they were let go. Valid question of the @metpolice I think. Blind eye turned to littering at the Marathon too, I know because along with other XR activists I ended up clearing up after hundreds of people watching it. They just threw their rubbish on the ground & left a right mess 🙄.
Littering is an actual crime and carries a fixed penalty charge of £150. @metpoliceuk how many fixed penalty fines for littering did you give out this weekend?
