@kellyenz The demand of the USD is surely not inelastic. When U.S. inflation is on the rise, interest rates tend to go higher and investors shift capital into USD-denominated assets to earn higher returns, increasing demand. This is what it has been happening.

But having more than one opinion can be more valuable; it can help us make more “informed” or biased decisions (our access to the truth is subjective ).
