@glenn_pierce Absolute insanity that the judge was granted anonymity. Are these the values we want our judiciary to uphold? A mitigating factor for sex offences is that a woman isn't fulfilling her wifely duties? This is a danger to women and girls - the judge should be named @RobertJenrick

@Shaz_C_ @it_is_fareed Many come for SOL jobs or to study, use public services, don’t earn enough to pay tax back, and bring over dependents who largely don’t work, along with sending over remittances. State dependency/net fiscal drains go beyond a simple view of cash benefits.

It should be in the public interest to name judges who overrule deportation orders so they can be held accountable if that person reoffends. It’s also in the public interest to know, in a supposedly liberal, western democracy, which members of our judiciary think that a wife not having sex with her husband while she’s in hospital should be a mitigating factor for child sex offences.

Wait, what? You're desperately worried about integration and then the first policy you come out with is to make citizenship, which has long been seen as a key element of integration, more difficult? Even leaving aside the administrative nightmare, that's odd - to say the least.
