@SimonHasFacts @NBC789 @it_is_fareed From my perspective, the reason why western countries want low income migrants is because they want higher profit margins for businesses and upward pressure for housing to increase profits/asset value for property developers and landlords. It's as cynical as that.

@SimonHasFacts @NBC789 @it_is_fareed Nevertheless, there is a reason why all these western countries want low income migrants. They want people who are willing to perform low income jobs, even with a net fiscal cost. The solution is to pay higher wages at the bottom & middle at the expense of the rich & asset class.

@NBC789 @it_is_fareed They're not building a life of dependency on the state. They're working 2/3 jobs on desperate wages and sending remittance back to their families. Or they're in some kind of unlawful employment by choice of gang coercion. The state dependency from migrants is a myth.

@lionel_trolling There's an explosion of population growth in much poorer countries so relatively it's not gonna have an impact. As long as poor people can earn enough to send remittance to their families, they'll keep moving to richer countries.

@__theskipper__ @BBCLondonNews If the companies are saving money from WFH initiatives and getting equal/more output, there isn't really anything they can do. Even discounts don't or free lets don't really help.

@LOVillaJavea The establishment wants to go back to an economic set up from the Victorian Era Empire, except this time it'll be without the resource wealth from the colonies. This is what it looks like.

@bertiewilber @PolitlcsUK @thetimes Not wanting to fight for a rich criminal class who have impoverished their then and their communities is apparently hating themselves. Looking in the wrong direction.

@_iamblakeley They are paid to be losers by their donor class. The electorate needs to primary away the feckless losers and be done with them.

@BodegaaCat An in-form Partey is the most important player. Like any team, it's usually the most reliable possession circulator and tempo setter. His line breaking passes can't be replaced.

@ManofLaManca @AaronBastani They aren't academics. Tony Blair has ensured the only people that can rise to the top are (Fabian/Progress) party loyalists, lobbyists and PR merchants. The other issue is they like having people with skeletons because they can be whipped (extorted) for political favours.

@markofagenius Civil institutional decay was a bipartisan project from Reps and Dems for a while before Trump. Trump has just massively accelerated it. That's the same for Tories/Lab. Reform, like Truss, would have the same impact as Trump but without the world's reserve currency.

@DoctorFishbones The donor class are happy with them loosing. They are paid to either loose or fail to over turn Reps policies.
