My word. Pioneer players salt off when they lose a "good" matchup for them more than any other format.
If you can't beat Phoenix with that thing maybe you should play Phoenix; but that might require you to learn how to play the game.

-Adjusting and relaxing into rounds, allowing me think more through my plans and hands in the way Jason suggested

No real highlights today, feel in an awkward spot where the leagues feel very noisy but prelims just involve me getting clowned.
Need to do some thought about how to get quality games in. Challenges are a lot when budget is a big concern.

This is an extreme level up by the way:
It stops you dehumanising your opponents
It reframes the game around doing something together, which has heavily encouraged me towards better communication and clean play
It makes everything more pleasant, even with those who aren't
A while back,
@aquibian
described the RCQ grind as basically just a 9-to-5, which sounds weird, but has been really helpful to me personally. Additionally, thinking about your RCQ opponents as coworkers you almost certainly have to see again makes it easier to have grace for them

Shredder triggers missed: 1
Highlight was opponent being locked under their own magebane lizards g2. Had the axe in hand but why let them cast their burn.

Todays daily phoenix league

Noticing some laziness in my early game plays that really burns me vs aggressive decks like prowess. It's nice that that gives me something clear to focus on.
(Doing stuff like autopiloting the pathways on blue, literally lead to me taking 6)

Day 3 of Pioneer Phoenix. Pretty decent 4-1 though I have no idea how I could have beat that deck round 5. I just really got got hard.
Highlights are surprise Prismari command lethals vs NTL round 1 G2 & G3
Also the Amalia Leyline into my Arclight Phoenixless Deck

Like it blows my mind how much I've been throwing my getting anxious and rushing.
I worked out a multiple turn exact lethal line through a potential Wanderer/Settle the wreckage and executed it. If I rushed I would have lost.
I can do this. I just need ot keep working.
