After 32 years of Coaching baseball, the past 24 years at Guilderland High School I’ve decided it’s time to move on to the next chapter of my life. When your six year old Grandson gets on the phone and says grandpa I need you at my games and to work with me who’s 750 miles away

The season didn’t finish the way we want it too, but I loved the way we battled to the end. I would like to thank the 5 seniors for all of their effort and wish them nothing but the best in their next chapter in life !!

Tonight would of been are last game before sectionals. It’s still hard to believe we didn’t play a game with this team!! I know in my heart they would of been one of the best teams I’ve coached at GHS!! Seniors I’m proud of you not only as players, but also as the men you are!❤️

My thoughts and prayers are for a Friend and colleague who lost his fight with cancer a day before Father’s Day. He will be missed, he was a competitor and loved the game of baseball.
Somehow he was at every game and just about every practice. Love you my friend !!

Today my Dad would of been 85, there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about this man. It will be 10 years on 3/13 since he passed, I just would like to say I’m very thankful to have him in my life for 50 years and making me the man I am today !!

A father is someone you look up to no matter how tall you grow.
I went to the cemetery to visit him, it’s been 8 years since he passed and my heart still hurts!! He may not be here physically, but the memories are still very vivid in my mind. I miss his laugh

Now we have @ bats/ pitches/ games sometimes decided by a clock, when umpires have a great game you never notice them, now this makes it impossible !!

1 year ago today was our last time on the baseball field together.
8 years ago today was the last day with my Dad, one temporary, one permanent. Dad taught me time heals all wounds, obviously these 2 are different, but both deliver pain to everyone involved.

I’ve coached both, and still coaching high school 32nd year this season.
I loved coaching both, the biggest difference I believe is when you lose your last game in high school, unless you play in /win a state championship there’s a lot more heart break and emotion when it’s over

Stopped by Saratoga National Cemetary to visit Dad, what a beautiful place. Can’t believe it’s been since 3/13/2013 the day he passed.
For me it seems a very long time since I’ve seen him, I guess when love someone so much,it seems like it’s been forever!!

Today is Dad’s birthday, he would of been 84 it’s been almost 9 years since he passed. I think what I learned during this difficult journey, it’s not about getting over it, it’s about learning to live with it. Not focusing on the day he died, ficus on the days he lived.
