This is what I used as a high school coach. I would tweak it some now. I would simplify more. I have come to the conclusion that so many baseball coaches try to do to much. My message to so many coaches now is "stop trying so hard. practice what wins!"

This is our version of a drill we saw and Vanderbilt- we call it Vandy Short Bag. I love it because it teaches cutting & getting directional. This is early in our base running installation and involves 8th-12th graders. Notice the difference in the more experienced guys.

This is a great drill we borrowed from QB guru George Whitfield. Works to help infielders that have trouble staying "stacked". It is also a great drill to teach "hip pops" or change of direction.

We've had coaches ask us about our base running install. This is raw practice video from day 1 with 8th-12th graders working on getting out of the box. We do this at home plate & all 4 bases. Primary emphasis is getting out of the box & getting directional.

Another raw practice clip of us teaching our guys a drill inspired by a drill we saw at Vanderbilt. We call it Vandy Short Bag. Great for teaching the concept of aggressively rounding the base and getting directional.

We put together a "master practice" sheet for each position. It included our mindfulness training, warm up, throwing progression, specific positional information, and team defensive drills. It was lamented and attached to the back of a clipboard.

I’ve had a few coaches reach out about yearly planning and individual player development plans. We planned the year in phases. Each phase we would set goals, write action plans, and measure. We met with each player after each phase to review and set goals for the new phase.

This is the process point scoring system we used at Hartfield High School. Each inning was worth a "skin"/1 point. A tie would carry over. We used the process scoring to emphasize what was important to our team.
