This poll misrepresents American farmworkers. Undocumented immigrants make up 44% of 👨🌾. Their denial of the right to vote maintains racial oppression in our bourgeois democracy. Fighting for the democratic rights of immigrants is 💯 to the construction of socialism in the USA
My CPUSA comrades: Don’t fall for the trap of
@usuorg
and
@red_clarion
. They spread obvious fake news about the party and seek to divide us. Their facade of upholding principled ML’ism is a cover for wrecker behavior
@LovelyLeninist
Blaming Jewish people for Christ’s death is horrid and also antithetical to His mission. It is worth mentioning though that while the Romans technically were the ones who crucified Him, it was the Sadducees/ clerical class that demanded His execution.
@amithecommie
It’s much much more nuanced than that. The American Revolution didn’t change the economic system nor did it substantially expand democratic institutions. It was a revolt by the merchant and plantation classes to maintain the status quo, ie unrestricted slave trade.
@TheAtlantic
The Communist Party continues to organize the people to this day! Our party has a long history of fighting for democracy, social justice, peace, and workers rights in this country. If you’re interested in hearing our side of the story, reach out!
@SocRevolt
The anti-religious campaigns of socialist experiments past and present have hurt or helped lead to their downfall. This rhetoric is counterproductive
Important reminder from
@CommunistsUSA
Co-Chair Rossana Cambron.
Online propaganda and social-media use as a Communist must be driven by good-faith organizing principles and concrete goals; not ego, dopamine boosts, or clout-chasing. Party discipline is self-discipline.
@LFCt0dd
Folks in the West are doing what they can to help the Palestinian liberatory struggle. Applying pressure on our gov & corporations to cease aiding Israel is what Palestinians are asking us to do
@MattHunterMCR
Honestly bro I wouldn’t even respond to this dude no more. He’s getting off to yallses beef cause he obv doesn’t have anything else better to do. Buggin off for no damn good reason
A lotve hate I’ve seen online for Hadash/Maki has been subtle antisemitism. Every party has their problems but if you’re complaining about the fact that Maki’s delegate was Jewish, you got problems
@johnbachtell
Because that doesn’t contribute to peace. The whole reason Russia invaded Ukraine to begin with is because of Western-NATO encroachment. How would us continuing to arm Ukraine bring Russia to the table? It’s counterintuitive and a failed strategy
@jtfdenver
@jvsetzler
Every single church in Gaza has been bombed by Israel. Muslim Palestinians defend churches in East Jerusalem & the West Bank from state and settler violence. Christians are not in the crossfire, they’re in the crosshairs of Israeli snipers
@TheFlagGuy_
@IDF
@WCKitchen
The truth is the vehicles carrying them were clearly marked. If Israel truly had state-of-the-art precision markers and wasn’t indiscriminately bombing Gaza then this wasn’t a mistake
Whether or not settler colonialism or the rise of fascism is the identified primary contradiction, what matters most is organizing to end the ailments of both
@pukejacobson
@MattHunterMCR
@AeolusDrift
We all face the same oppressor but certain groups face oppression to greater extremes. The obvious groups are POC, women, immigrants, etc. Indigenous communities face a more unique existential threat than the rest of Americans, however, given the past and ongoing Native genocide
@LovelyLeninist
Oh ok sick! It’s crazy how there are people who STILL blame Jewish people for it and even then, think it’s a bad thing?? Like, half of the Messianic prophecies are in regards to being betrayed by his allies & people and ultimately sacrificed. They don’t even know their own faith
@NotMountainChen
Great developments have come from the Convention that many seem to have forgotten! The commitment to industrial organizing, reinstatement of a National Organizational Secretary, increasing support from national to clubs, calling for the running of Communist candidates….
@red_clarion
Sad to see fake news from potential comrades. We need unity and militant struggle now more than ever. Clickbait like this only sows division and mistrust. For anyone wondering what the current state of the party is, here’s a clarifying article:
@MattHunterMCR
Yo I totally get that. Being harassed and not addressing it can feel humiliating. But genuinely the party knows your character, knows his, and he’ll move onto his next prey next week
@FunkLawGrad
@jdst258
@communistgarth
@usuorg
@red_clarion
If you don’t agree with the basis of our program, you don’t have to stay in the party. I don’t blame you for disagreeing but like, we’re a DemCent organization. If you don’t agree and don’t wanna carry out the tasks set forth that’s fine, just join another org
The CPC and Nationalists formed a united front to defeat the Japanese. Italian partisans fought alongside liberals and Catholics to rid their country of fascism. The history of Communism is a history of rallying the masses against the primary threat to their prosperity & peace
@FunkLawGrad
@jdst258
@communistgarth
@usuorg
@red_clarion
I mean, what you’re talking about may be your core principles but they’re not mine. And that’s ok! I joined the party because I agreed with its program. I’m happy with the direction of the party and the program it’s upheld, I’m not just sayin that cause DemCent.
@FunkLawGrad
@jdst258
@communistgarth
@usuorg
@red_clarion
Ultimately the people who are dividing us are in-large people who joined the party with the intent of tryna change it. 99% have good intentions I assume but at the end of the day, one of the requirements of joining the party was agreeing to uphold its program. Take it or leave it
@upholdreality
The article we reposted was written by a leader of Tudeh, the largest communist party in Iran. Call us feds, Trots, whatever but that aint the truth. Our comrades in Iran understand their own gov better than we could. It’s important to uplift Iranian voices in these matters
@ohcomrade1
Pet insurance and no dry food!! These two things will save you and your kitty so much time and health. If you can’t afford constant wet food, even adding a lil water to dry food helps
@MattHunterMCR
@SciTechJunkie
I mean, treaty recognition has been a basic demand from indigenous organizers and nations for decades. We can’t take a separate path from the one most indigenous movements are on
@TheStupiderest
@dubiiiiious
He went to military prison 4x as a conscientious objector, was assaulted by IOF soldiers during a protest against settlements in East Jerusalem, helped write South Africa’s ICJ genocide case, and has repeatedly decried Zionism as a fascist and racist ideology.
@pukejacobson
@MattHunterMCR
@AeolusDrift
While it’s true that the US working class is multi-racial & multi-national, this doesn’t negate the fact that we live under a white supremacist regime that is particularly harmful to indigenous folks and subsequently communities of color
@amithecommie
Ok yeah cool. I can def see why people don’t consider them WC, esp considering managers in the US are legally barred from joining unions. They’re for sure the comprador section of the WC
@pukejacobson
@MattHunterMCR
@AeolusDrift
Settler colonialism is the root of our hyper-militarized culture, super-stratification of classes, utter carelessness of our planet, and white supremacy/ Christian nationalism. How the USA came to be continues to mold our society.
@pukejacobson
@keepaustinnasty
@MattHunterMCR
@AeolusDrift
Because the American gov continues to be a white supremacist regime. Not all white people are part of the ruling class but our ruling class is overwhelmingly white. Also that’s like saying “Why would Israeli Jews support Palestinian liberation if they are settlers?”
@RedGanjaguru
@roanokemarxist
@DecolonialMarx
We admittedly do need more indigenous representation in national, including an Indigenous Commission. But that can’t from tokenism. It requires us to be more involved in indigenous movements and garnering grassroots leadership
@courktree
@jdst258
@communistgarth
@usuorg
@red_clarion
To think that excessive repression under bourgeois rule is fascism is to exonerate liberalism. I’m sorry what happened to you and your friends, Disco, but that’s the nature of liberalism. Fascism is not liberalism upping the violence scale, it’s a wholly undemocratic system….
@pukejacobson
@MattHunterMCR
@AeolusDrift
To recognize settler colonialism as a primary contradiction in our nation means combatting all of these systems of oppression alongside rebuilding indigenous nations & their sovereignty.
@courktree
@jdst258
@communistgarth
@usuorg
@red_clarion
maintained by the most reactionary sections of the capitalist class. Fascist rule is even violent towards other sections of the capitalist class. Remember how the Nazis led boycotts and organized vandalism’s of Jewish businesses? MAGA is doing the same thing to “woke” businesses
@FighterDiesel
@itsjustmaxok
@ZoeDodd
I don’t use Tik Tok. Anyways, just look at the civilian casualties of Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan to name a few and you’ll get the picture
@upholdreality
If the article in question was the only media regarding Iran’s retribution, I would understand where you’re coming from. It’s not though.
@sevignat0r
The majority of CPI’s leaders, MP’s, and base of support are Palestinian Arabs. The national coalition they lead is a coalition of secular, democratic Palestinian parties. The struggles of the CPI are deeply intertwined with the struggle for Palestinian liberation
@keepaustinnasty
@usuorg
@red_clarion
@comrade_pabs
“and seek to drag the party back into its days of bleakest reaction.” You both know our party has made great strides in a positive direction these past few years. The proposed resolutions do not throw us off this path
@pukejacobson
@MattHunterMCR
@AeolusDrift
By definition, however, the vast majority of Americans are settlers, my family included. Our Constitution, our systems of power, and even our culture is bent around this fact. The theory of settler colonialism isn’t just about the ongoing genocide and stolen land.
@breauxxxhampton
@amithecommie
Not exactly. Like another comrade said, the number of slaves imported from the Caribbean grew tenfold post-revolution. The move towards Northern industrialization later on had more to do with increased slave revolts and settlers worried about being outnumbered by slaves.
@keepaustinnasty
@usuorg
@red_clarion
@comrade_pabs
Combine these lies with the call to action in the photo and the characterization of our leadership as entirely “ROTten”, you have essentially an article calling for the party to implode. These people don’t want to see us improve, they want to see our downfall.
@TheStupiderest
@dubiiiiious
Not to be a nerd but I’d wager Ofer is in the 95th percentile of Israeli activists insofar as being an ally of the Palestinians in both word and deed. The scope of what he has done for Palestinians as someone living inside Israel, alongside Hadash/Maki, is unparalleled
The Kahanist militia (a.k.a. the police) has invaded the Hadash party's club in Nazareth. It is engaged in vandalising artworks and displays for the 1 May demonstration, which will be held tomorrow. As can be seen in the attached video, their excuses for doing this are pathetic
@Tim_in_Time
@SohiubN
@mishtal
To think that mass starvation means affecting 100% of Gazans & genocide means attempting to kill 100% of Gazans is a misunderstanding of both.
@pukejacobson
@MattHunterMCR
@AeolusDrift
Tbqh I’m not a fan using terms like “settler” or “colonizer” in everyday theoretical discourse since it’s inherently divisive towards people who frankly can’t change it. I’m Armenian, my family fled our homeland because of genocide and came here to survive.
@amithecommie
@dawgalova
Second to preserving slavery, they revolted because the British didnt let them kill indigenous folks & move beyond the Appalachians. The right to bear arms & form militias is directly tied to this. I understand the Leninist trad but theres nothing progressive about this
@MattHunterMCR
“The Right to Struggle” by Monte Melkonian. He fought and trained alongside the PKK, the PLO, Iranian students in 1979 and the First Karabakh War. This book is essentially a memoir of his experiences and a blueprint for a multi-racial, socialist state in Turkey
@Khaledhzakariah
Those are protest marshals being instructed what to say when being asked questions about the situation. It’s on-the-ground training for protest organizers, not the students at large. Your misinformation is as clear as day
@keepaustinnasty
@usuorg
@red_clarion
If you don’t mind I’d like to address you both in the same thread,
@comrade_pabs
. I completely agree with both of you, honest critiques of the party should be welcomed. Thats not what they’re doing though. Side-by-side with many genuine criticisms are bold faced lies. To cite:
@keepaustinnasty
I don’t think so. When refer to revolution I’m referring to the long process of building worker power, not the breaking point. We need to learn how to build mass movements, how to govern, and attach ourselves to the working class. Elections are one means of this
When people criticize Armenian American orgs for being nationalist or fixated on the Genocide, they don’t understand a fundamental aspect about us: 90% of us are descendants of Genocide survivors. The majority of Armenians worldwide were slain. We are proud because we survived
@rabbitworship
@LovelyLeninist
Why do you think some of them boast about “killing” Jesus? Just because? No, it’s likely a source of pride in reaction to blood libel racism. Christians have long persecuted Jews because of it so yeah, why not rub it in their face? At least that’s how I interpret it
What constitutes fascism and determining whether or not the US is fascist is important. What’s more important is working against all fascist forces and ending the settler colonial regime
@courktree
@amithecommie
@Nineteen19Dom
It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. They’re barking orders at us that, even if we wanted to, have no chance in hell of passing. They’ll use this as proof that the party is “ROTten to the core”
@LovelyLeninist
To be frank it’s def just excuses for hatred 🤷♂️. And mad respect you, you’re prob a better Christian than half of the worlds Christian’s lol
@sevignat0r
It’s worth noting the naming convention of CP’s. Yes, they’re the Communist Party of Israel. The name is meant to convey that they are *the* CP working within the borders of the State of Israel. Just because Israel is in their name doesn’t mean they support the Zionist project
Folks should feel free to read their articles for themselves to see what I mean. Here is a compilation of lies from their latest articles to understand where I’m coming from:
@keepaustinnasty
@usuorg
@red_clarion
If you don’t mind I’d like to address you both in the same thread,

“The party does not demand national liberation or self-determination (for indigenous ppl)” Calls for sovereignty and recognizing signed treaties was mentioned multiple times in this resolution
