He/Him, lifelong Communist Party member, IT worker.
We can create a world free from war and poverty together.
Ask me anything about the Communist Party USA.
This is insane. Environmental impact assessments include impact on ground water, endangered wildlife, worker health and safety, damage to highly fertile soil, and disposal of materials. Market anarchy is the cause of our ecological problems, not the solution.
Worth noting that these Chinese workers were working 40 hours a month less than the American workers. 196 hours a month is the maximum in China. US workers work 240 on average with some reports over 260.
@GoodVibePolitik
If that "makes you physically sick" Just wait until you find out the position of the Israeli Communist Party and Palestinian Communist Party!!! (Spoiler: It's the same)
@_ericblanc
This is not what "leninists" believe. I follow you for your work with EWOC but am constantly disappointed by these weird and baseless attacks on "Leninism". Are you really content to not understand what Leninists believe?
@DeLoach_NC
congrats to biden for successsfully hiding negotiations with the railroad behind closed doors and keeping the rank and file union workers out.

@RoanokeMarxist
That's not how Wikipedia works. In this case, the 5,000 number has been blocked from changes because of a Wikipedia admin named Dennis Brown. A source says we added 5,000 members in a period of time, and they are insisting this is the total membership.
I've never bought into the "harm reduction" framing around electoral politics.
I'm voting Democrat 99% of the time to expand Democracy as widely and as quickly as possible, to complete the democratic revolution, not to "reduce harm".
@woodsoffin
Exaggerated to put it lightly. We're a democratic centralist party, and the clubs/individuals who refuse to follow the decisions from the national convention - our highest body - are being removed.
Some of those being removed have taken to social media to spread rumors.
@trollie_problem
IFP is an anti-union rag, funded by finance capital Marriot and Summit Rock who want to cut labor costs. They made it up.
The union contract has basically no limits on what can be pre-fabricated. Read it yourself, the relevant section is 2 pages.
@DougHenwood
The closest thing would be the open letter sent by union leaders to end the Vietnam war in 1971, National Peace Action Coalition, lots of local leadership signatories, some regional signatories, but no national bodies except UE.
I would say this is unprecedented.
Seeing the vote as an exercise in individual morality, as opposed to a hard-fought gain for our class, or losing ourselves in nihilistic apathy, puts one closer to the disaffected Democrat than it does to a Marxist-Leninist.
@justinkcomer
In the past they've had no problem approving FOIA requests for this. I submitted one for my own unit and EVERY unit in the Quad Cities. no problem actually got back to me pretty fast. What are they covering up?
JD Vance says that Kamala Harris is a “childless cat lady” who is “miserable” with her life because she didn’t have children, and that not having children means that she doesn’t have “a direct stake” in America. Story.
Donald Trump is not "one man", he's the key activist representing an enormous base of fascists. The figurehead and national leader of a racist anti-democracy movement which needs to be dismantled.
Electing him enfranchises fascism, defeating him disenfranchises fascism. Get real
If the election of one man is enough to bring fascism, fascism is already here. If another man’s pride, selfishness and stubbornness is enough to sink a democracy, democracy had already ceased to be.
Project 2025 Page 595, teenagers should be allowed to work in dangerous occupations, and the federal government should provide grants to businesses which "train" teenagers in dangerous occupations.
"Today the world must adjust to the growing influence and economic power of the Global South and accept that socialism is very much alive and growing stronger every year."
"The reason that the extremists hate the ballot
box and parliamentary tactics is because they know
they are the minority and have not the patience to
await the test of discussion and time. They don’t want
the counting of noses, because they know the count
will go against them."
Helpless people will cheer nationalist promises of protection if no other credible protectors are available.
The Socialist movement has to be a more credible protector than Trumpism. Cheering on political violence does not accomplish this.
@trollie_problem
IUEC regularly installs modular elevators. They're not much cheaper than regular elevators on labor for the developer regardless of union labor or not.
They are significantly cheaper for the manufacturer, who theoretically should be passing those savings on to the developer.
"We know that politics is where the masses are, and it would appear at this moment that they are being re-energized around Kamala Harris’s candidacy. It is imperative that progressives recognize the weight of the moment and commit themselves to the struggle to defend democracy"
"Indifference to the U.S. political process is widespread, and not by accident. Low participation rates are not the result of some “secret cabal” or “deep state.” Rather, they result from the normal functioning of bourgeois democracy itself"

If we sold the skyscraper we would need to rent office space. This doesn't really make any sense in the context of new york real estate.
@Bodhishevik
Du Bois spent almost his whole life criticizing every theory for black liberation, until he narrowed it down to the Communist Party and joined.
He didn't let the critique of the theories for black liberation stop him from uniting with everyone in struggle. True dialectician.
@redleaf_water7
This is a far-right immitator, not the CPUSA. I'm happy to answer any questions about the CPUSA and how we relate to the struggle for trans liberation. You may also be interested in these articles critical of our history.
If a third party or independent can put forward a real candidate who is pursuing this I'll be the first to line up behind them. Dan Osborn in Nebraska for example. It's very fucking rare, most of these third parties and independents don't care about democracy.
@ComradeCary
@Splash_Attack__
It is the CPUSA HQ but we don't operate out of the first floor, we operate out of the third. The first floor is rented by an art supply store. Most of the building is not rented out. You can read more about it (albeit outdated and notably pre-covid) here.

@MarxistHeathen
The program now opens with "Towards a Palestinian state - Progressive democracy on the entire soil - undivided Palestinian Territory with Jerusalem as its capital. Our prior approval of the two-state solution was a strategic fail."
I hate how many communists act like the working class is a passive, apolitical mass just waiting for us to impart wisdom. Working people have their own political ideas and engage in politics in diverse ways. There’s a serious chauvinism in how many of us approach this.
@LuluFaitDuParti
Not really. They claim to be a split but the signatures on their founding document are forged. Very weird people, they are all about making noise and controversy on social media.
Publications dealing with questions of inner-party democracy from Communist Parties around the world.
Britain - 1957
China - 1945
USSR - 1951
India - 2010
@PhytoMech
People's world might be one of the most important things CPUSA has ever done. Millions of annual readers and high readership amongst union members. None of the corporate media bullshit.
Ukraine was going to run out of money in 3 months... Are we going to be sending them $40bil every 3 months to keep them afloat? This one bill is a lot of money but what's the annual budget.
@KultKultRev
Yes. The general Marxist-Leninist view is that revolutionary violence arises from the state's repression of the Communist and Worker's movements.
