Oh boy, there are so many to mention, but I'll share some that come to mind.
What is your favourite shot from Godzilla 1998?
Mine is this wide-shot of Godzilla (hidden in smoke and debris) causing the collapse of a building. The effects still hold up and the perspective helps create a real sense of suspense and terror.

I've never understood this mentality. Yes there wasn't alot of new Godzilla films in the those ten years. But so what? You don't need nee films to love the franchise. I grew up watching the showa films before we ever got any new ones and I lived through that time period
2004-2014 were rough years man. My love for the franchise nearly diminished because there just wasn't anything. The era we're living in now might just end up going down as the best era for Godzilla ever. So much to sink your teeth into now. Great time to be a fan.

Not even a competition. There is no hate towards Holland or his fans but these films transcend CBM and are perfect stand-alone artistic films. For the most part, the MCU spidey films have so little heart to them

I think the hate with SU stems moreso from how toxic the fanbase could be in the past. Not the fanbase as a whole obviously. But loads of instances of people being harassed and so on by the fans

Best bit for me in Godzilla vs Gigan Rex was this moment right here. Godzilla going Monochrome was absolutely stunning to see and I hope we can see this worked in elsewhere as it was a fantastic way to work in black and white. Especially is such a visually stunning way.

Really wish Sony would release a more open version of
#Godzilla
on some format as it's only ever been released on vhs. But as you can see in some of the screenshots I'll be posting, theirs so much more picture info. Love going back to it.

This is beyond stupid. Just send out replacements there is no need of this if you show proof of purchase. Bad enough they messed up and have god awful packaging that destroys the discs. Might just get a foreign release of this 4K. Hate how cheap and crappy criterion has gotten

Yep! Streaming services will plateau. That's why they have to keep increasing their prices as they refuse to try and make their shows available on physical media, which is a market that is still bigger than they would like to admit even though studios try to ignore that fact

Never had any issues with his character dying. Sure it would've been nice to see him work with Monarch. But I love Ford and his time in the film. I feel he's very over hated by fans

That's the problem with this Fandom in general. Anyone who gets any sort of following gets put on a pedestal and treated like they're above everyone. What's even worse is some people thrive on that and develop huge egos because of it and become assholes in the process
Im not gonna leave GojiTwitter anytime soon but honestly regarding the Kel situation, I think a lot of us got to realize to lay off some people and give them some space. Cause we’re all human at the end of the day and no one should be treated as a sort of messiah

Modus operandi for WB. Been doing this since their scooby doo and Batman TAS bluray releases. They compress the hell out of these shows. And dnr them to the point of them looking like animation cells. Really wish more would complain about these as it's a major issue for animation

It has no weight as it's just for sake of shock value. The new 52 movies weren't even building upto this at all. Not to mention the story takes place over one film when it should've been two. Nice that they tried to give them an ending but they were so boring and forgettable.

Don't know if that's the case as they had a short film on the home release of the first film. Not saying it couldnt end up being the case. But it would be nice if there was more clarification instead of just a blanket rights reason as to why it's not out yet.

And just like that, after a year and a half of work, all eight Gamera Blu-rays are signed off and delivered for replication. Hope you all enjoy them in a couple of months - easily the biggest and most intimidating project I’ve ever done.

Not surprised. Been saying it sense I beat the game. The ending and last half felt sooo rushed. And honestly so much of the story felt truncated in places or just illogical. So much fun to play but man they need new leadership on the next game. As they had soooo much time

No we do not have to respect that they choose to alter and destroy the natural look of the film. You've championed faithful restorations in the past. Why is Park Road and their A.I. given a free pass? Something shot on film should look that way.

Legit. Everything has to be like the awful writing and back and forth in most of the MCU films as well as the fact everything can't be sincere or allowed to breath without the scenes being deflated by a bad joke.

Starting out my birthday by watching one of my favorite entries in the
#Godzilla
series. Loved this film ever since I saw it in Imax at an early Thursday evening showing before it opened wide on Friday. Also the 4k is great!!
