In Luke Skywalker's final moments, he faces down an entire army, peacefully bringing them to a halt, comforts Leia in the wake of Han's death, apologizes to Ben for his mistakes, and dies with a sense of purpose and redemptive hope. It's a perfect sequence.

I know people don't like the volume now, but man. The Book of Boba Fett used it to make a solitary elevator set piece appear to move up, have the character exit and walk around, and then get in and go down again, all in a 2-min long take.

The tactile nature of the Force Awakens is not talked about enough. It's a very physical film. It's rough– textured, like you can touch and feel it. The blasters have a distinct dangerous kickback and punch to them. It feels tangible and real in a similar way to the originals.

The idea that one is never too far gone to turn back to the light is tearjerking to me. The broken, earnest humility necessary to tearfully admit your wrongs and do what is right. Anakin’s death hits me harder the older I get. One of the best scenes in the saga.
