Like many tumors, if diagnosed at an early stage, it is cured by appendectomy. The same tumor at high stage can progress to pseudomyxoma. Using different names at different stages would be confusing. Mucocele is a gross term for dilated appendix filled with mucin

My colleague Dr. Marie Robert completed a multi center evaluation of celiac disease and found that clinical data do not accurately predict histology. Dr. Robert is a thought leader in celiac disease and I wanted to share this with the Twitterverse.
