Reading a book by an FBI negotiator about how you can tire out your opponents by just saying "How do you suppose I do that?" to all their demands. Great advice, yet horrifying to realize it's the learned helplessness strategy used by depressed victim mentality people.

Me, seeing creative yet emotionally volatile people in a downward spiral: "Hey you might feel better if you prioritized sleep, saw the sun, talked face to face with a human being--".The depressed self-hostage: "How do you suppose I do that? šŸ™„".

@paularambles As a kid I used to run cat breeding projects with barn cats and yeah, I learned so much about genetics. They can have kittens for different fathers, calicos are almost certainly female, white cats are more often blind/deaf and two stubby tailed cats tend to have nonviable babies.
