Go for branch and not college.
Faced it myself. Went to ECE for tier 2 college.Asking anyone not to repeat it
The peer group and classroom atmosphere of ECE, BIOTECH, EEE etc is worse as compared to branches like CSE, IT.
Always choose branch over college.
BRANCH >> COLLEGE.
