Getting 2.5L a month in an unstable SWE Job at Sprinklr >>> Getting 30k per month in stable Govt job
If I consider 0% returns on the corpus saved, 1 year of work is equivalent to 8 years of work in your stable job. So ideally you need to work just 5 years to match 40 years of
Today Sprinklr revoked offers for the '24 batch.
How can someone work to their full potential when there is a constant fear of layoffs?
Sometimes I think if I made the right decision choosing this industry or if going for a government job would have been a better option.
You definitely don’t need to rely on a tech bachelors degree to make it big in tech. This man is a true inspiration.
Guess the LinkedIn profile if you can 😁
Indians destroy everything when they get into it. CP was a beautiful thing back in 2019-2021. Now, see what people have done to it. 50% of people copying pasting solutions.

All India Rank 2, it is !!
I am elated to announce that I have secured an Indian Rank of 2 and a global Rank of 27 in today's
@LeetCode
Biweekly Contest.
The feeling is surreal 🤩🥳.
Kirana shops are failing in India but it's not just because of companies like Zepto or Blinkit,
In fact the reason for their failure, is why 90% of businesses fail in India
See Kirana Shop business model is to be a retailer and make daily essentials available in a certain

It’s not freedom. It’s responsibility for boys. We have no other choice than to provide for our family.
Please don’t disrespect boys struggle to glorify your own 🙏
Freshers preparing for System Design interviews, here are some Medium articles and YouTube videos for High-Level Design which I used to prepare.
A thread 🧵
IITs are not just about degrees. It's more about the environment, resources you have access to and the peer pressure you get.
If you are looking for a job, you will have access to the best placement cell in the country and even in off campus you will get high preferences for
With placements seasons coming up, I suggest devoting -
30% of your time to CP,
35% to DSA and Mock Interviews,
20% to CS Fundamentals,
and the rest 15% to networking, and cold-mailing people for opportunities.
Don't just do DSA all day.
Some things that I badly wanted but couldn't achieve -
1) Getting into an IIT.
2) Going to the ICPC Asia-West Finals.
3) Becoming Master on Codeforces.
Maybe in next life 🤞🏼
One of my long-term mentees got an offer yesterday, the package is 4.2LPA but the offer is remote and also he was a 2020 BCA grad and has been unemployed since graduation.
He is super happy to start his Developer career ✨
So glad I graduated from a Govt college when I only spent 2L for my entire 8 semesters.
Also got an on-campus job from Microsoft.
Another reason why you should grind JEE hard to avoid those hefty college fees.
Idk where engineering scenario is headed in India. Parents are spending their entire savings in tuition fees and then college fees only to see their graduated child unemployed. The ROI is abysmal and yet the supply-demand seem to be way off thanks to the misinterpeted "IT boom".
10L compounded at 12% for 25 years is around 1.7 Cr.
10L compounded at 15% for 25 years is around 3.29 Cr.
That's why a 2-3% commission can reduce your wealth significantly. So, I always advise people to invest directly in stocks rather than mutual funds.
People not getting PPO and frustated, I would tell you an incident.
One of my closest friends in college interned at Microsoft, worked f*cking hard, completed his project, gave his PPO interviews well. But still didn’t get a PPO as there were no headcounts in the team.
He kept
Got 2 proposals last week to join as tech co-founder in startups.
Folks understand I can’t leave my well settled job for some X% stakes in pre-idea stage startup.
From watching every single delivery of India’s matches 5 years back to knowing that there was an India match today from people’s WhatsApp statuses, somewhere I lost my interest in cricket🫠
Comp 1 - Around 60 LPA (cash + yearly equity component) in a top MNC with a good job security.
Comp 2 - Around 95 LPA cash component and around 3cr esops vested over 5 years in a seed funded startup. The esops component is currently illiquid and doesn't have a buyback policy.
Just made the decision of turning down the full-time offer from . Felt a bit sad saying NO to such a good organization that offered me such a healthy work-life balance and an ample amount of learning.
I don’t really understand the obsession of going to US to do MS with a huge student loan just to do the same tech job which you can also do in India.
Eventually, if you don’t get H1b visa you will have to return after 3 years. I don’t see any substantial reward of taking such a
Another friend of mine(also an Ivy grad) left the US after ~7 months of job hunting. She returned debt-free as she had no student loans.
COME TO THE US IF YOU ARE CONFIDENT ABOUT BEING IN THE TOP 1-5% AND ARE FINANCIALLY STRONG.
So I have a boy in my team, he is 18 years old, just completed high school and he already knows UI/UX design, Git, ReactJs and has excellent CSS skills.
All I knew at that age was to print patterns in Java ☠️
Doing DSA only is pretty useless for off-campus openings if you are not doing CP or Development alongside it.
You need to have some kind of an edge for getting your resumes shortlisted, and that edge comes from being exceptional at CP (CM or higher) or being very good at
I sat resolving a bug for a whole day, then my manager came and fixed it in 10 seconds, literally 10 seconds with an innovative method🙂 Now. that's real problem-solving skill.

@LeetCode
. Too excited 🥳🥳
One side effect - I guess I won't be allowed to give Leetcode contests anymore😅
Another fun fact - I was offered the role without a single interview🫣
Meanwhile me getting rejected 46 times in Google before getting selected, 6 times in Microsoft before getting in and 71 in Amazon ☠️
Baki startups wagera ka ko pata nhi kitna rejections, kitna cold mails spam me padha ha
People like him are the actual reason why people tend to mock Microsoft employees. Why can't he understand he is just making a mockery of himself.
What a clown this guy is 🤡 Kya faida 1 Cr ka ss deke followers badhane me?
No wonder people say the Indian Tech community is full
