- women were allowed to attend military academies in 1976
- women were fully assimilated into military in 1978
- “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” was repealed in 2011

Sarah Collins Rudolph lost an eye and has pieces of glass inside her body from a KKK bombing that killed her sister and three other Black girls inside an Alabama church 59 years ago. She’s still waiting on the state to compensate her for those injuries.

The PACT Act is a separate, distinct bill altogether; it establishes the eligibility/entitlement for benefits/services/assistance for Veterans exposed to burn pits.

The residents of PR are US citizens entitled to equal treatment and protection IAW Federal law. As Justice SOTOMAYER pointed out in dissent, it is illogical/unfair to deny PR citizens benefits that, e.g., the citizens of Northern Mariana Islands (another US territory) receive.
