Blue check means I’m the real one. Sarcastic scientist navigating stock markets, 🏠 rentals, and life. Fitness, humor, X enthusiast. Mission early retirement.
My paycheck no longer goes to me via my checking account. It goes directly to my trust and I no longer need to pay income taxes.
Learned this loophole on YouTube.
I need to buy this book for my parents.
I've told them many times I'll burn it all down rather than deal with it.
Who wants to spend weeks away from work handling their parents' belongings?
What are your thoughts?💭
You lost your job. You have no savings. You have enough money to pay bills and buy food for only the next 2 weeks.
Your mortgage is $2,500 and you won’t be able to make the next payment.
What’s your next move?
Actual college test shown below. My daughter sent a copy of her assignment a couple of weeks ago. Crossing my fingers that she graduates in May despite this challenging exam.
I invested $50,000 two years ago.
My current dividend is $564/month.
My initial shares have doubled in value in two years (now worth $100k)
Good purchase?
Someone didn’t pay attention to one of my lessons on frugality. I’ll say it again for all the new people.
You rent a Corolla, swap the tires with your own. Then return it. $40 for four almost new tires. You still have to pay for an oil change. 🛞🛞🛞🛞🚗
The taxes and insurance we have to pay on a paid off home is basically a mortgage. Comes out to over $1,200/mo right now. It will only continue to increase yearly.
My daughter was shocked they were given this. Hence the photo. Actual course description: An overview of public communications theory and practices in the agricultural, food, and life sciences with a particular focus on technical writing, public relations and media relations

In arranged marriages, it's like a slow-cooker recipe for romance; the love simmers over time, and the families act as sous-chefs, making sure the marriage doesn't boil over. Meanwhile, traditional marriages can be like microwave meals—quick to heat up but sometimes just as quick
Do you feel you should help pay for your kids’ college expenses?
We saved to pay our daughter’s expenses via 529 plan. They have scholarships that also help.
I had to pay 100% my own way after scholarships. My hubby’s parents paid for all his education expenses.
🚗 Did you know the average age of US cars, trucks, and SUVs is now 12.6 years - a record high? With driving costs spiking, how old are your vehicles, and why are you keeping it? 🚙
I’ll go first.
When your boss’s boss calls you to tell you what an amazing job you are doing and to discuss development into new, bigger roles, is it a good time to tell them you plan to be retired in 3 years, or is it best to stay mum on that piece of info?
“Health insurance will kill you in early retirement!” “Good luck affording health insurance!”
Here are plans I was offered today. Doesn’t seem to crazy to me.
Which insurance plan are you picking?
This is for me and my spouse. The monthly premium in the upper right corner of

The 2017 total eclipse was a bust. Clouds rolled in and we saw nothing. I vowed to never travel to see one again.
Narrator: She only traveled 20 minutes to a park to watch.
@rjmsalespro
It’s a terrible situation to be in. So many are on the brink. Sorry it happened to you, and congrats on the hard work and making it! Did you keep the house?
I’m amazed that many people have no hobbies or life outside of work & don’t see any point in retiring early.
I plan to see the world, bike, hike, visit family, try new things, refinish furniture, visit friends, live temporarily in cool new places, shop farmers markets.
@Thefrugalgay11
I see 2 trains of thoughts going on:
We can move to Toledo, get rich, retire by age 55, then do whatever we want.
OR
We can live elsewhere, be poor, and work until we are 72.
After seeing Rao’s pasta sauce in the stores and thinking, “why would anyone pay that much for pasta sauce,” you all convinced me to try it. I was not impressed. Was NOT worth the money. Homemade is far superior and the $2.50 jars of sauce I sometimes buy were just as good.

Temp job. I forgot about that option. I did that one summer in college. Had a job lined up nearly every week. Worked in hospitals, physical therapy, law offices, CPA offices, car dealership. Loved the variety.
@ThinkAppraiser
I did this, but charged $3,000/day to pay it off even faster. Then I added on cleaning fees and miscellaneous charges. It took 3 weeks to pay off the loans.
In hind sight, I should have done this with Toyota Corollas.

What rights did we give up? The right to wear a seat belt? The right to not smoke in a restaurant? The right to wear a helmet when you ride a motorcycle? The right to not get childhood vaccines? Geesh, the government doesn't let you kill anyone these days.

Can we please stop twisting the meaning behind what people have said. She said if doctors & scientists said it was ok, she would take it. She wouldn't take it just because Trump said it.

A drug to help you lose weight for some reason as bad. A drug to help you quit smoking good. A drug to help lower your blood pressure good. A drug to help you have an erection good. Drug to make sure you don’t get pregnant good. But dammit we don’t want people to receive any help

I’m with most of these folks. Ace is much closer. Fast in and out. Great customer service. Shelves are usually full. Love it for grabbing the one or 2 items I might need.
Retirement age is 67.
Average life expectancy is 78.
Are you planning to only enjoy 11 years, or are you making plans to retire early?
#earlyretirement
Can someone please tell me what the drug is that makes you smart and know things? You know, the one they think Biden is going to be taking for the debate? If it existed, I think I would be on it. I think we all would be on it.

Check your tires. Speaking from experience. Hubby had to change a tire on the way to the hospital. He was so flustered and nervous I had to tell him exactly what and how to change the tire, including which way to turn the wrench. His mind was blank.
This photo was taken in 1946. The guy is Ken Shimizu. He is 35 years old with two children. Shimizu never runs, sleeps late, eats whatever he wants, even drink beer instead of water. He eats dinner with many kinds of food every night.
What does Shimizu do to get such a body?
If you’re curious how I made my money, let me tell you.
For 2 weeks during the start of the pandemic, I stopped drinking Starbucks coffee. That allowed me to save $50,000. I invested that into dividends, quit work, and am now worth $3.9 million.
@RealCandaceO
Antibody mediated enhancement makes a virus exponentially worse. That isn’t happening as proven by the unvaccinated rather than vaccinated filling the hospitals. I thought he might mention something worthwhile. Pure garbage.
