Legislation that harms PBMs would ultimately drive up costs for patients. But even apart from the merits of the legislation, it would be ill-advised for Congress to include a last minute, 400-page sweeping healthcare bill — that no one has read — in a CR.

With Republicans set to take control of the entire elected government in just a few weeks, they would be wise to reject heavy handed intervention in private markets, that would necessarily mean picking winners and losers, and would dramatically increase health care costs.
