@poojaasanwal
The city unlike Bangalore has nothing to do on weekends.
The getaways are very far.
Closest one are bidar fort,bhongir fort rappelling,Kajaguda hills and up north some water falls and Vikarabad.
Also may be its a disadvantage of geography.
Its on deccan plateau
@keylimepie2000
Its hard, check Jains.And FB Housing/Rental groups.
No smoking
No drinking
No weed
Puts you in a niche group of people you can't find on the internet.
But sending all my prayers and wishes you find someone your type.
Things will never get easy at any age.
I am at 29
People come and go.
Some friends stay.
some turn to be acquaintances.
That's how life is ,
you continue.
@jelambhatt
It did 8 years ago.
Started posting to gain consistency in sketching and photography but was getting influenced by likes and then I realized that’s not me.
Stopped giving a damn and no looking back.
@soumya_sharma26
Consent is to make person comfortable.
Introverts like my brother hate to be touched.
Some like me get frozen 🥶.
No point in advancing and be ass.
I got frozen once an acquaintance held me like that.
I still look at the picture and Laugh 😂 about it.
Have seen lot many hop on to the mentor bandwagon during covid on some platforms.
Mentoring is a different skillset and is not directly proportional to number of years on paper where you are stuck not doing much and accrue numbers.
Just because someone is a senior designer doesn’t mean they’ll be a good mentor. Extremely exclusive skillsets. One is a product of another but not vice versa.
It’s even worse when they charge money for substandard feedback + mentorship.
@figma
My friend has lost access to school account and isn't able to access Figma.
She has all her work there.
And have some interviews lined up for tomorrow
Is there way she can recover the access.

@rogie

@bicepveins
@Akin_nocturna
Recession
Overwork
Lack of time
No savings
Etc
And other factors
That was my understanding.
After watching videos and talking to a few people at school.
Hello 👋
I am at Junction in life where I am little clueless to choose career/role after my Graduation from MS-Human Computer Interaction.
If you had been there previously, what did you do to gain some clarity on which direction to head.
Any thing would be of great help.
@pritika_mehta
My father delayed the idea of travel to post 50s.
Now both my mother and father are not fit to travel.
Diabetes and Knee joint issues.
I would recommend anyone to travel when there is age and time.
Seeing them I got my Passport on 18th year.
Explored India and now USA.
1/ Building a portfolio at any level can be daunting, so we're launching interview series with designers who have almost cracked the design case study. Formula based approach does not always work, so you need a great perspective on the same.
@akshita1520
When I was in school we had people from all across India.
I made conscious choice to make friends from each state to attend weddings,to know culture and food.
This reminds me of 7Km run in school.
I never thought I could do.
A senior suggested instead of 7Km in your head.
Break it to the turns.
The turns were roughly at intervals of 1 Km.
I was not able to be the first guy to complete the run.
But I completed the Run.
Running a marathon alters your brain.
I always thought it’s IMPOSSIBLE for me to run 42.2km.
Then I thought- let’s try. How hard can it be? Turns out, very🥹
How many times do we try impossible things as adults? And what impossible things can we do in our careers and our life?
I had a roommate who sat down and split 1 Dollar Tax based on items purchased.
I just told him I will give that 1 Dollar.
Don’t waste time on these petty things.
Can’t stand this kind of people.
Blood boils.
Have seen this in real life . LoL.
I don't like this stingy energy . Be like my bro
@rohitawasthi
who first tips the bartender and wait staff before ordering .
Excited to announce that we’ve raised $35 mn as a part of our Series B around. Grateful to our users, Deepinder Goyal, Blume, Nexus, Steadview and Alpha wave for continuing to believe in us.

i remember my grandpa taking a peek into my laptop when i went to pee, and surprisingly i left my camera on, and my client said, "namashkar uncle ji, aur kya haal chaal hai" and he replied with, "bas badhiya, isko paise time pe bheja karo"
What is fun activity you did in the past week.
In our busy lives we tend to forget to appreciate small moments and lead life we wanted to live.
I did watch Northern Lights.
Went on a hike.
Saw a sunset.
Attending taco making.
What are some books to read about handling rejection.The whole process is excruciating 😣

Wanted to quit school after class 10th.
My family couldn’t see I could make it through in life without a degree.
After Graduating from IISc I realized its a piece of paper.
I think as long as jobs need degrees.
Thinks will not get better.
Why do we assume that a college degree is the only path to success?
There are so many different ways to learn and grow outside of traditional education.
Let's focus on skills and experience rather than just a piece of paper
@VaishnaviVarkur
Haha, I have been a fan of them since childhood.
First purchase after coming to the USA.
I am elated to have so many pockets.
Lot to care than just 2 pockets.
Its distributed packing
@i_sudeepa
I think its a narrative set by the Consultancy in India.
Since they work on some tie-up model and get students admitted to certain universities.
If you can make a strong case.
How and Why this program at University will help you out and whats on the table that you are offering.

Go girl.
Don’t embarrass us with dumb questions like other so called journalists do or you can equalize by asking stupid questions to actors 😂
@_ShaliniSingh_
There are 2 analogies I would like to quote.
Suppose I like Hyderabad Biryani and she likes Italian.
We go out and order Biryani one weekend.Italian the other weekend.I cook Biryani for us.She cooks Pasta for us.I go hangout with my friends for Biryani and

@DesignUpConf
.You guys are revealing speakers day by day and I feel that most of them are those people whom I wanted to see sometime in my lifetime and attend their talks.
Not all friends or best friends most people are acquaintances.
My mother taught me the difference early on.
And no looking back.
When I was really young I believed everyone is good friend and I would go to any lengths to get things done.
Later reality hit me.
@somanna_bu
I can do a daily reminder.
Also there’s 5 more years to be in Forbes 30 under 30.
5 more years to do 30 under 30 bucket list.
Roughly 1530 days from now.
Keep killing it buddy.
I want to:
- Publish a fantasy novel
- Perform standup comedy
- Produce an animated film
What do you want to do that's outside of your traditional "career" trajectory?
