Got off the phone w/mom who said how it’s safe to eat in restaurants b/c they’re all full now. She said she feels safe. I countered w/public health isn’t all about vibes, people could say they feel safe not washing their hands after using the toilet, that doesn’t mean it’s safe.

@makeupartist524 Great thread and good question. For what it’s worth, knowing what I know now about respiratory transmission, wearing a mask on public transit, especially planes, will always be part of my protocol. But prophylactics/clean air would make many other things a lot more accessible.

I love how I just went to DC on Thursday w/an entire team to speak about why it’s so important we maintain a layered approach to infection control, how clean indoor air would be a huge help in moving into a new normal since people are still getting sick. But no. Vibes at all cost.

I had 1 call w/a producer yesterday & 1 call today w/a manager who each had read the 1st 15 pages of my pilot, Zero Light. Both requested the whole thing. It could lead somewhere, it could lead nowhere. But what they both said is what makes me feel good: my character feels real.

No break from this type of educating or activism. That’s the worst part. There’s no off switch. I miss the artist part of me, the fully realized one. But there has to be a way to do this & live a full, healthy, artistic life. I just don’t know how yet. I know what I’d like to see.

@cross97se I work in an Aura, which doesn’t really rest too much on my face. The seal may get a little damp around the edges, but it dries quickly. Lindsay Marr talked about this in her 60 Minutes segment and she said it doesn’t have too much of an effect once it dries.
