@envidreamz @CovidDataReport I agree with Data Report. Our SARS2 numbers (from WW Scan) are relatively low right now. We had a short-lived wave in late December/early January. I believe LP.8.1 could facilitate a decent surge here at some point as the immunity diminishes.

@tiredlcbby This is why subtyping is paramount. Like, we don't know if this is merely seasonal influenza behaving more virulently, or something more ominous, like a H5 reassortment. It's possible.
