It looks like Bernard Brogan could be out for the season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in training last week. If he requires surgery it could be 2019 before we see him again. Wishing Berno all the best in his recovery and hopefully we see him back in blue soon.

By not giving it to Clifford after his incredible performances throughout Sigerson, league, championship and club campaigns, the judges have basically let us all know that a Gaelic footballer will never win the award.
David Clifford won seven trophies in 2022, footballer of the year, man of the match in two national finals.
Produced some of the highest skill levels and individual performances Gaelic football has ever seen.
It's wrong on all levels he was not given sports person of the year
