My daughter is autistic. Sounds of children drive her to meltdown. We have a local food store that has sensory time slots.
Public can't shop while other sensory people are there.

My oldest is an introvert. When he was younger; I was always pushing him 2go out, b w/ friends. I thought he was shy. Since them; I learned to embrace it and laugh. Laughter is how we chose to live our life. I sent him this; today. He said thanks mom; u really do get me. Luv u.

My daughters therapist; after 4 yrs still could not reach her feelings. One day i shared w/ therapist. She named her feelings years ago. Anxiety is waldo/Happy is jeanie etc. It was a game changer in reaching her.
Instead of asking how is her anxiety she asked how's waldo ?

IN MY BOOK. I talk about Autism/disabilities Around The World. I've met 1000s of parents. Wrap your Head around this Fellow Americans. There r still countries that will Rip your autistic/disabled child right out of your arms. Institutionalize them; claiming U/parent r the reason.
