Right Wing Losers Read This When Mad At Me.
41 yo Trans Gal, She/Her.

While there's nothing wrong with my bio, I am most certainly not going to change it as long as it continues to get unserious idiots to tell on themselves.
@ReelingThespian
Obama was as much of a monster as everyone else in his line of business, if not moreso than many.
He was just waaaaaaaay better than his successor and predecessors at downplaying that fact. 😞
@IamAMuffinMann
@DwixoDoodles
@starteas
You're correct, but it's still pretty weak, and probably the result of whoever's in charge not wanting him to sound too different from typical Chris Pratt.
Let's be honest, if they actually wanted him to sound like MARIO, they wouldn't have hired Chris Pratt to voice him. 🤷♀️
@notCursedE
*looks this up*
Wait. So the whole reason UK trans people have to deal with the GRA in the first place is because some transphobic cis dude pitched wanted to "uh nevermind" his marriage to his wife, whom he already knew was a trans woman before they got married?
@StacyCaySlays
@theErinPaige
@iridescentUwU
"You probably won't pass after puberty" is still a pretty negative reinforcement, and the kind of thing that reinforces the fear of transition.
It's just not a healthy way to look at it.
@TylerFindlay234
@IamAMuffinMann
@DwixoDoodles
@starteas
Dude, a teaser is literally the first impression we get of the movie. They do NOT just throw stuff into the teaser lightly, especially not NINTENDO.
If they put it in, it's the best they had.
@CoreyBrickley
@KorpsPropaganda
The dude is kind of a jerk and a loser, with a list of Ls a mile long, but he's also got a hot bod and a bottomless pool of infinite confidence, so he never really feels that bad about the constant rejections.
So overall, I'd say he's kinda average. lol
"The black radical isn't becoming a crazy child murderer as a result of her radicalization against rich white supremacist oppressors, no.
She's just pretending to be doing that, so she can willingly sacrifice herself to help a white girl protagonist fulfill her character arc."
@TheAntifaTurtle
I agree in general but Ricky was the one who posted a meme comparing trans women to deformed freaks, so kinda hard to feel bad for him in particular.
TBH the dude isn't even punching down, it's more like lateral punching. I don't get what he thinks is in this for him
I am so confused about responding to anti-trans trans people. I can't imagine what it's like to be caught in that trap. Like, you want your identity respected but then say that trans people's identities are fake. You're not a *real* man or woman, just a "transsexual fake"?
I think a lot of cis folks don't actually understand how wildly different transition is for folks who get to do it BEFORE puberty runs its course, vs those who miss that chance.
Intentionally denying a trans child from getting that opportunity is unconscionable.
I think a lot of cis folks don't get the impact of laws denying trans kids medical care: the difference bw transition before/during puberty & after is physically significant.
That's why there are hormone/puberty blockers--to buy trans kids time.
IF THEY ARE NOT OUTLAWED.
"The black radical isn't becoming a crazy child murderer as a result of her radicalization against rich white supremacist oppressors, no.
She's just pretending to be doing that, so she can willingly sacrifice herself to help a white girl protagonist fulfill her character arc."
Folks getting mad at JoCat for his entirely innocuous and cute takes on girls is 99% a case of people who cannot reconcile the fact that you not liking something doesn't mean there's something wrong with it.
@CharlesCPatter1
@helllllen
This is on Discovery. One of their executives became the HBO Max CEO, and he's basically burning it down to reduce Discovery's competition and collect the insurance money, to speak.
@DierkingJakob
@EndWokeness
What I find really sad about a lot of the complaints (Which largely boil down to "That kinda racism isn't really a thing") are literally addressed already by the second half of the PSA.
But because they get too mad to actually finish it, they never realize this.
Remember that time a middle aged cis woman ended up in a men's prison instead of women's, because a POS transphobic nurse decided that her being on HRT (which was invented for cis women) meant she was trans? 🙃
@transscribe
Also, the influence a months long harassment campaign has on how and what people think of Ana cannot be overstated here.
They very deliberately did everything they could for months to turn the public against him.
It was like, literally a new wave of abuse every God damn week.
@Q_Review
Reminds me of one of the worst things about episode 9, going "the main character is actually directly related to a powerful force user, never mind that this is the exact opposite of what the last movie established."
@MonkeyBlood
@colorfullstory
Yeah, at first I thought it was about the book, but as he continued I realized it was less "This book is so sad" and more "I should have been able to go through this when I was a child."
It's grieving for the experiences he missed out on that a lot of us take for granted.
@Puddles021
@whatmyr
@Johnny2Cellos
That's on CN. They pulled the plug on the original series when Sugar refused to drop the wedding from the show.
That's why the show immediately goes to Homeworld next and rushes to set up the S5 finale.
We're very lucky we got the movie and SU Future, to be honest.
@DaleKeshaun
@blurayangel
Let's be real, while the 2007 film is pretty enjoyable, the series went downhill so fast it may as well have been on a waterslide. 🥴
@funwithleigh
@DecayingDoctor
@bebopnetflix
The only reason it makes any sense for Spike to not open fire in original shot is because he could get gored by the blade poking his upper body.
Vicious isn't touching him in the live-action shot, so there is no reason not to fire other than "this is how the anime did it."
@thatskidding
All I can think is "Pup really needs to ease the hell up and start listening if he doesn't wanna get dumped."
But then there's the manipulative way he talks to her near the end. Oof. This guy seems like bad news. 😬
@cruiser_madd
@Lorekeeper_GGuy
It's not a coincidence that the cartoon with strong women of color and LGBTQ+ representation is the same CN cartoon that got more hate than anything else that wasn't Teen Titans Go.
@DanielCarapezzi
The venn diagram of people who are making these complaints and folks who don't understand how a concept template works is also a circle. 🙄
@_azzym
@PuccaNoodles
The fact that he put her in charge of somebody else was a sign of him starting to recognize her growth.
Also, this is my favorite moment in the entire show.
@feminist_rachel
Literally none of these are even kinda true. I recommend actually interacting with trans people, instead of going entirely off of mumsnet stories. 😐
@ColtonWinters_
This is a nice sentiment, but being able to set aside politics is a privilege unavailable to folks who are threatened by Trump's xenophobic policies.
His decisions have ruined lives and torn apart families. This isn't a game.
@TheOnlySprout
Awwww. The mom clearly has a lot to learn, but she's earnestly seeking healthy guidance and trying to be a genuinely loving parent despite clearly having the wrong idea about the situation.
And huge kudos to the other person (not 100% sure of gender) for hashing it out so well!
@LeaC_Official
It finally clicks that all her anger is misplaced, and all those hurt feelings come pouring out of her.
As a voice actor, these intense moments like this are what I live for. It's part of why the show resonates so much with me. 😍
@transscribe
Meanwhile, all the folks who actually meaningfully contribute to the harm done by that company will continue to remain nameless here.
Because it was NEVER about Lockheed Martin. It was only ever about abusing a disabled trans man.
@DreamWorksSheRa
I love Glimmer because she's:
-brave to the point of recklessness
-100% determined to prove herself
-a good friend
-willing to admit to her mistakes, even though the pressure her Mom puts on her makes this very difficult for her
-a total a cutie pie
@AwestruckVox
Also the fact that everybody comes to Eddy's defense, despite most of them kinda hating him throughout the show, is honestly really wholesome.
@girldrawsghosts
Oh this is a FANTASTIC example.
The thing is, they could have fixed that mistake by making him secretly survive in Days of Future Past, and reveal that he was actually the secret to The Sentinel project.
Because the Sentinels literally had his adapt-to-survive powers.
@JamesGeneoakley
@Mati21st
I've been watching anime for over 30 years, and yeah it absolutely is.
The oversexualization of women and girls is a far bigger and much more visible problem, but that's a whole other conversation. 💅
@transscribe
Honestly, The KF doxx was just the finishing Blow.
And now that Ana's been chased off of twitter, nothing is going to change. The people who did this to him are just going to move on to somebody else. 😞💔
