I wish I could have three pinned tweets because it's getting tough to choose between Pia Salming rocking the Börje hoodie, Willy's approval video, and this incredible screen cap😂
Oh god just realized the game is in Montreal so we're going to have to sit through a 47 minute opening ceremony about how some Hab named like Dominique "Dicky" Langlois-Desjardin lead them to a cup in 1931
Marner: out with injured ankle after overskating
Rielly: out with mysterious upper body injury
Matthews: out with 3rd illness of the season
Nylander: Unphased king still unaware who the Leafs are playing tonight
I swear to fuck if the Leafs don't demolish the worst team in the NHL tonight after the Bruins passed them in the standings I'll be right back here tomorrow night watching the Panthers game as well.
Watching Chris Tanev is making me realize that I don't think I ever even knew what exactly an effective stay-at-home D-man was supposed to be doing lmao
I'm sorry to put the attention back on this but Matthews has more goals since Saturday than Slafkovsky has in his career and that is just objectively funny
I would trade Canada never even winning a single medal again for the Leafs winning just one cup and it would be one of the easiest decisions I've ever made.
I think "Head Coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs" might surpass even "President of the United States" as job that ages you the quickest (this is from 2019)
Love this greasy, Passion-filled duo🙌🏻Get your new favourite tarp over at my store now.

RTs much appreciated🙏🏻
(Also please overlook the watermarks on the images. Trying something different to prevent my work from being stolen.)
Imagining the horror alternate timeline of the Leafs losing the lottery and drafting Laine who'd get eaten alive by the TO media while Matthews puts up 68 goals for fkn Winnipeg
Nylander is truly the best player for this market. Doesn't give a fk what the media says. Never complains. Plays with whoever the coach puts him with and still produces.
Super cool thing alert🚨
Last month Börje's stepdaughter got in touch with me on Insta and long story short, I had the pleasure of sending his family some hoodies.
Here's his wife Pia rockin' the hell out of one.
Just beyond ecstatic that this initiative could reach them 💙🇸🇪
Me in 2019: "Imagine Tavares handing the cup to Marleau"
Me in 2020: "Imagine Tavares handing the cup to Thornton"
Me in 2021: "Imagine Tavares handing the cup to Spezza"
Me in 2022: "Imagine Tavares handing the cup to Gio"
Here's another crazy Matthews stat for you:
He has more career goals than anyone drafted in the last 12 years (since 2011 when Auston was 13 and still five years out from his own draft)
I'm strangely at peace right now for two reasons:
1) That series was from hell on an anxiety level and it's at least fucking over
2) It's never been clearer what direction management should take with this team and who should stay VS who should go. A chimp could figure it out.
Regardless of what happens Saturday, I feel like we have a pretty good picture of who should be part of this team's future and who shouldn't be after these last few games. That alone provides me some comfort.
Need a little focus group assistance.
Both of these are unfinished atm. Whichever design the people like more gets completed and put up on the store. Let me know below🤙🏻
1. Auston Matthews - 51 G
2. Sam Reinhart - 39 G
A difference of 12 goals.
2. Sam Reinhart - 39 G
20. Travis Konecny - 27 G
A difference of 12 goals.
Insane.
Auston Matthews > Pavel Zacha
Mitch Marner < David Pastrnak
William Nylander > Brad Marchand
John Tavares > Charlie Coyle
Morgan Rielly > Charlie McAvoy
Martin Jones > Jeremy Swayman
Matt Murray > Linus Ullmark
Joe Bowen > Jack Edwards
Advantage: Leafs
PSA: This video probably made your brain a little sad, but it's not because Keefe is leaving, it's because subconsciously you know he gets to actually escape this cursed hellscape and is finally free while the rest of us are stuck in the blue flames 4 life 🤙🏻
I know that we want more Playoff success and ultimately that's all that matters, but having a Leaf who's breaking franchise records who then also breaks his own records that he himself set is pretty wild and we should all bask in it a just little bit more.
Upon further reflection, Papi is either scoring five, folding the Coyotes in the process before buying them himself OR the Leafs are losing to a Kerfoot OT winner. No middle ground.
