Tonight, a community meeting was held because Jamel Austin, a six-year-old boy, was killed while riding his bike.
Soon afterward, I asked this officer, politely, to not park in the bike lane. This is what happened after "F. Rende" seemed to turn off his body cam.

I finally made it to North Shore to check out The Lagoon at The Esplanade. This kind of smart, walkable, mixed-use urbanism is illegal to build Downtown because of Crime-Related Issues. Hoping some day we get something like this built in the city proper.

I was told no one came Downtown anymore because of Crime™️. This article doesn’t address how many visitors perceived unease because they were asked for a dollar or saw a homeless person! Things that we should definitely pay outsize attention to as we think of Downtown’s future!
