Lets go slow here and not confuse terms. Most importantly, not revive the tired and misleading Marxist doctrine that Nazism was somehow just an extreme form of capitalism. Nazi Lebensraum doctrine had Malthusian and Darwinist roots, combined with the most murderous anti-Semitism.
The holocaust can only be explained in context of imperialist war. The early scholarship that sought to screen off the war fell woefully short.

But sent tank busters to Ukr while ze Germans closed their air space to the RAF (first time since 1945 ).
He extended the UK's nuclear umbrella to Scandinavia while ze Germans winced.
History will judge him kindly, more so than Scholz.

That's a misinterpretation. Russia's trade surplus soaring not because exports went up but rather because imports collapsed. An alternative interpretation is to say that sanctions seem to be working. But I might be wrong. Check exports. See

The term imperialism is ambiguous as its connotations invite misunderstandings. I have used the term myself in the past but it but it requires clarification. The Nazis did not invade Eastern Europe to offload 'unrealised surplus value', which Marxist doctrine would suggest.

Zur Verhinderung einer Kernschmelze wird die neoklassische Ökonomik in Deutschland ab Frühjahr 2023 flächendeckend abgeschaltet. Für einzelne Professoren nichtamerikanischer Provenienz gibt es Restlaufzeiten. Die strahlensichere Endlagerung ist noch ungeklärt. ( Ironie aus 😉! ).
Ich fordere von der Bundesregierung Massnahmen gegen die Kernschmelze neoklassischer Oekonomik. Darauf basiert Deutschlands Wohlstand. Hunderte Professoren koennten arbeitslos werden, mit unkalkulierbaren Kaskadeneffekten.

Rudi, ich glaube das stimmt nicht ganz. BVerfG sagt nur, dass die Umschichtung nicht anständig begründet war. Es sagt *nicht*, dass der Klimafonds für die Notfallklausel prinzipiell nicht in Frage komme. Das Urteil ist rein prozedural und trifft inhaltlich keine Festlegungen.

Hello Herr Ischinger, fair enough but there's that sinking feeling that Germany's political class have been hiding behind Germany's past. Like others, I was initially impressed with Scholz's announcement but he hasn't backed it up with action. A much diminished figure now, sadly.
Pleased to see a foreign voice refusing to join in the Germany-bashing. Sure: Berlin deserves to be criticized for hesitating, and for not leading enough. But Germany does deserve a little credit for trying to learn from our own history, and to do the right thing

Der Grund für das zunehmend aggressive Getrolle dieser Jungspießer sind die miserablen Umfragewerte der SPD.
Dabei ist die Sache ganz einfach: sobald Du Deinen ersten Einkommensteuerbescheid erhältst, fängt das Erwachsenenleben an. Ein böses Erwachen.

Das ist gelinde gesagt eine Frechheit.
Profs sind Beamte mit geschützter Freiheit von Forschung und Lehre, genau damit sie unabhängig gutachten können - was Teil ihrer Job description ist. Die einen sind mehr ordo, die anderen mehr Interventionstisch. Gut so. Live with it!

An addendum. The term Reichsbürger dates back to the infamous Nuremberg race laws of 1935. These defined Reichsbürger to be the only bearer of full citizenship rights. To qualify, the racist criteria of Nazism had to be met & confirmed by the ancestry records. Just sayin'...

in general, more the pre-Nazis "Reich" (as "Reich" is a simple word for "Empire" in German). Although far-right ideas are very important for this movement.
