A faint STEVE quasi-aurora this morning over Canada: - only a faint display, but
@amazingskyguy
's excellent wide views drive home the key message that this phenomenon occurs many degrees equatorwards (i.e. south here) from the main auroral arc.

Aurora can be seen throughout Alberta with at least Kp3 strength events. But, Lake Louise is nestled between a few mountains, obstructing the view of weakevents. As such, seeing Aurora from Lake Louise would require Aurora overhead to be visible, generally at least a Kp5
