Now that is what a SAR arc looks like folks it's the upper red band. This image is quite rare as SR arc usually do not form horizon to horizon. They normally drift from West to East.

AR13614 fires off an X1.1 and AR13615 fired off a sympathetic flare of unknown size. There is definitely a Large CME associated with the flare from AR13614, and this is a 2 day arrival CME if I am correct in what I see.

So now that we know that the X5.0 associated CME is only going to glance us, with a shock wave. What can we expect? Well a CME is made of of three parts, The shock, the Sheath and then the ejecta (CME). We will not be seeing the sheath (or very little of it) or the ejecta.
Well folks I have finally managed to get around to counting the nights/mornings that I have caught the aurora in Southern Alberta last year 2023, and it was a whopping 93 times! Quite incredible considering our geomagnetic location, I guess it does make me The Aurora Guy
DONKI has finished their model of the AR13576 C9.6 solar flare and it's associated CME and folks we have a direct hit, not an glancing blow but a direct hit. Here is the model.
