As a Canadian, summer’s always been my favourite season, but this one has truly been a blast!
Going from being a player who struggled to reach legend to nearly top 100 in the world has been so surreal, but I never could’ve done it without those who’ve pushed me to be my best ❤️🔥

Last night, I reached expert and finally made my first leaderboard appearance in the open great league!
Just a few seasons ago, accomplishing this felt like an insurmountable hurdle, but thanks to my community & a focus on improving, what was once a dream became a milestone.

Today I was reminded what an absolute honour it is to get to play locals in Toronto.
Despite the insanely stacked competition at the cup, I was able to battle my way to the finals and take 2nd place with a 9-4 record overall.

Finished just a hair short of the leaderboards in catch cup. While I was definitely eyeing the spot, the real fun has been battling so many fantastic trainers from around the world this week. Looking forward to more great games as I push for the leaderboards in the final week!

Things like purchased avatar items, poses that took hundreds of hours in GBL, or even the general likeness of the avatars have changed for the worse.

is a fantastic resource for determining DPE
.
If your Pokémon is the same type as move being thrown, don’t forget to increase these numbers by 20%!
For all Serperior players out there:
If Frenzy Plant is single resisted, it's still more efficient than a non resisted Aerial Ace (1,6 DPE vs 1,375 DPE). Frenzy Plant is that good!

Heracross raid day was super fun!
In just one hour, I was able to do 14 raids in Toronto and was rewarded with quite a few shinies 😁

While I missed qualifying by 40 or so points in spite of these missing points, one of our most talented local battlers not getting to play at Worlds because of a silly mistake like this would be a far greater tragedy.

The thing is that to optimize for iPhone, you’re able to optimize for a single type of chip per each generation of phone. Whereas on Android, you’ve got an incredibly wide variety of chips and resolutions, on top of processors that just don’t benchmark as well.

Just own it at this point. You already rewarded and Kyurem is supposed to be in raids. If you want to drip feed content, don’t give some players access to new, exciting legendaries and then take them away or prevent others from having a chance to catch them.

Took the rank 1 out for a spin and agree with these initial assessments. Clodsire definitely benefits from teams built around covering its weaknesses, but I believe those that do that well will succeed with it in both GBL and show 6.
After two days of Clodsire gaming, the verdict is as follows:
– not a safe swap, too many polarizing match ups vs ice/water/ground types
– ridiculous longevity, very viable counterswap in many neutral scenarios
– undecided on moves just now, I kind of like PS/SB over MS/SE tho
