On a surface level, our job is being an interpreter and a mediator. We straddle the line between dev and player and try to communicate the needs of both and offer strategies that meet in the middle.

My job is to listen and read, and I do a lot of that everyday. Depending on the company, I'm also allowed to respond, but within pretty strict parameters.
I know it's hard to feel heard when no one is reacting, but assuming you aren't being deliberately cruel, I always listen.
