One year ago I challenged myself to do 10000 steps a day in March 2022. Little did I know that would change my life forever. Down 94 lb/42.6 kg and feeling better than ever. I truly appreciate everyone who has supported me on my fitness journey.

It has been officially 9 months on my fitness journey!. I am down about 78 LBs and last month was my least weight loss (3 LBs). But I am very pleased because my strength, cardio, sleep quality and energy have all improved!. Still a ways to go and 3 weeks till my Dexa scan.

Earlier this week, I decided not to renew my contract to teach. I love teaching and my students but it was time to move on. I'll be spending more time on content creation so look forward more streams, videos and community engagement. I'm scared but excited.

Today marks the 120th day in a row that I have been active (walking/cardio or weightlifting). It is also the first time I have been below 100kg (220 lbs) since 2012. I feel like a new person but still lots of work ahead. I am trying to get my 0.241 version.

We were looking at clothes we had in our closet and I saw this jersey I got in Mexico from the community. Then I thought it would be fun idea to do a side by side comparison. I was a bit embarrassed to wear it initially cause it was really tight but now I can fit it comfortably!

Thank you everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes. I live a very fortunate life and I don't want much. However, I got the greatest gift today when @hsineerg drove 18 hrs in a day and a half to be with me. I also have a new dog in my life - Kenshin who I love dearly.

Just shy of 8 months in and I'm down 75 LBs. I have about 10 LBs to go before I reach my goal weight before I do my next Dexa scan (body composition) on December 22nd. Hopefully I'll be 20% body fat by then

Somehow I managed to get a few 5-0 runs with glaceon and excadrill (separate teams though) and managed to hit rank 10 tonight. Gained over 150 pts in 4 sets. Thanks everyone who joined the stream and the support. More coaching now.

Tried out GBL for the 1st time and I wanted to do a fun video for my first 25 matches. I used 75 unique great league pokemon and if I went 20-5 or better I would return (in some capacity). How do you think I did? . Video up by the morning.

I am 1000% upset with this decision. You don't make dust bonuses (GBN and master league) just to take away dust from regular battling. That is NOT a bonus and the stardust economy is far from broken within the battling community. I sincerely hope we revisit this @NianticLabs.
GBL Season 8.-Stardust rewards cut by 50%.-4 Weeks of 2x Stardust.-3 GBL Nights 3x Stardust.-You will average 18% less Stardust than Season 7 that had 0 Stardust Events. I'm speechless.

I love this raid invite feature!. A few suggestions @NianticLabs .1) Remove the 5 limit cap on how many passes you can hold.2) Free daily remote raid.3) Allow you to buy passes at the raid window.4) A status to say if you are already in a raid.5) Preferences for raids. Thoughts?.

Rank 10 is a great achievement but honestly, shouldn't be the number 1 goal if you plan to play this game in the long run. Have fun, be critical on how you can improve and be part of this amazing community. Don't let the up and downs overwhelm you. There's always another battle.

Two years later, I'm in the best physical shape of my life. All it took was a few habit changes, consistency and time. I am still working on improving but happy with what I have accomplished. I couldn't have done any of it without @hsineerg, who is more than I deserve.

Now to wait several years for level 60. I was super glad that pokemon levels were not tied to trainer levels (except for level 40) so it was not a high priority to get to 50. The quest line to level was more fun than XP grinding. Looking forward to more adventures!

People asked me once the wedding is over will I relax on my fitness journey. The answer is not a chance. My new goals by end of the year:.- 180 LBs (197 right now).- 20% body fat (was 25% on Sept 1).- Most healthy since my teenage years. Last goal is most important!

Incredible numbers but even when the great @brandontan91 can't get enough xl candy to max a legendary then there needs to be a rework in this system.
After 7+1 days of raiding Kyogre & Groudon, I managed to collect 222 & 221 XL candies respectively after a total of 817 raids with 796 of them caught 🤩 Despite taking a longer time to do raids, I enjoy the process of catching them especially the challenge to catch Kyogre 😄

As a community (or any community) don't deserve @pvpoke. Works incredibly hard on his site with virtually no pay walls and delivers on features that the community didn't ask for but really loves.

It is interesting to see how many people felt like it was over for me (game 3 vs Marty and being down 0-2 vs iomero). I tell my students don't believe that's it is over till it is. In fact believe "it's fine". You can't find a way to win if you aren't looking for it.

Thank you for acknowledging the issue. My advice - shut down GBL until after Go Fest. Extend the season out a week and give 7 sets a day. I don't want Go Fest to be laggy and that should be the number 1 focus. Sorry if others don't agree.

Excellent move by @NianticLabs. This is exactly why they did a preseason. Work out all the issues. Unfortunate timing for me - going to play for the first time in 2.5 weeks with @squawk1337 and @SparklTangerine. I'll have to try out GBL next time I have an out of town visitor.
