@functi0nZer0 Not an image but it'd be pretty hilarious if you showed this to the class lmao.

Things so bad for Indian immigrants that marrying a US citizen for citizenship is legit being considered one of the *top* options, wild.
📺 EP 76: skilled immigration in the US - H1bs, green cards, lotteries and caps and more w/ @deedydas. There are few issues @aarthir and I care more about than skilled immigration, certainly few that has impacted us more personally. We have always wanted to do an episode on this

@debarghya_das hilarious because "pedigree" in indian colleges is due to the fact that the barrier of entry is so high. why would you go there if the very thing giving it value is removed lol.

@akbirthko @Duderichy >Elon had no exceptional achievement.Man literally sold a video game he made to Compaq for $500 when he was 13.>Bezos was 30 when he started Amazon. Was already a quant at D.E. Shaw there, which is no mean feat in itself.

For ZK theory and math, currently primarily following two resources:.1. PSE Lectures with Matan (s/o @CPerezz19 for organizing this).2. SPLA Study Group with @GuilleAngeris in the ZKHack Discord. Anything else worth following? cc @kobigurk.

@VedantRusty Used to be a huge fan in 8th and 9th grade. Encountered British comedy (Jeeves & Wooster, Blackadder, Coupling, Yes Minister, The Office UK) in 10th grade and realized that FRIENDS was super cringe, low quality humor. A lot of the fan following till today is due to the nostalgia.

No offense and this is a great step but can’t help but think how this is the nation state equivalent of SRM etc offering JEE toppers 100% scholarship to join them. Like the most ambitious immigrants are still going to try to go to America lol, there is no second best.
We're offering 5,000 free passports (equivalent to $5 billion in our passport program) to highly skilled scientists, engineers, doctors, artists, and philosophers from abroad. This represents less than 0.1% of our population, so granting them full citizen status, including.

@Sanatanastika @bhootnath This series of free lectures by @iam_preethi is also a goldmine. I remember waiting ardently for the weekly emails when this course was still in progression. You can now access the entirety of it for free:.

This. Was very surprised and alarmed (!) to find that no major framework has the ability to test for reorgs rigorously. We will hopefully be contributing to Foundry to add this as a public good.
proposition: have testnets regularly do fire drills with reorgs of >5 blocks. bet it would break a lot of infra . working on accommodating reorgs @SeismicSys w @0xameya rn. surprisingly difficult to test properly given foundry / hardhat don't have simulated reorgs yet.

Let's try and experiment with this new ZK paper, hopefully no one has implemented it yet. @arnaucube:

Crazy how true this is, especially in crypto, due to how approachable people in the space are - for context, yesterday I found a post by @drakefjustin on ETHResearch interesting, pinged him on TG, got on a call and discussed an idea he had been thinking about - all within a day.

@LifeMathMoney It's superb Harsh, thanks a lot. I'll be contributing to open source blockchain organizations this summer, and this course has helped me tremendously in gaining insights about how crypto actually works. Thanks again!.

This paper (thesis) by @donnoh_eth should be required reading for everyone looking to understand the differences between Optimistic Rollups and Zero-Knowledge/Validity Rollups. absolute masterpiece

I was wrong. Inelegant (looking) problem but what an elegant solution.
@vishalcseiitg @iitbombay This isn’t as ugly as it appears to be. Like most JEE questions, they are testing if you can make some “quick” observations and avoid lengthy calculations. I could do it in my head in under 4min. During my peak JEE prep time I could do under 2.5min. PFA (short) solution sketch
