There’s a lot of details in that there about my scenario that I did not establish…
-Marriage was not destroyed (due to the note thing)
-There were far more than 400 notes over the course of 18ish years…they were everywhere

I agree, those things are responsibilities, not indicators of affection. Also things that both of us were doing for the household. He did have his own ways to communicate and show appreciation for my part in things.

They really do! I’m incredibly lucky to have very sweet, empathetic and giving children. Lots of those parts come from their dad as well, even in spite of his lack of responding to my notes.
