This is beautiful but if I were any of those doctors I would get a restraining order, respectfully.
Every year on her birthday I send cards to the three doctors who tried to talk me into killing my daughter before she was born because they feared she may be "profoundly disabled". She isn't. I include pictures. These will be in the 15th card they've received. I hope it weighs.

I’ve seen patients’ kids come to the hospital just to sign a DNR or call to stop all life saving measures. Having kids isn’t going to prevent this and it’s not the child, who didn’t ask to be here, responsibility.
How are the kids automatically qualified to take care of them?

The only toxic thing imo is the friend feeling entitled to a friendship with her friend’s partner. The friend seems to want to preserve a friendship without things getting weird and uncomfortable and that’s why a boundary was set. She didn’t bash her. This isn’t complicated.

The doctors were doing their job being honest and telling her possible outcome of the baby. They presented her with options. She made her choice and thankfully the outcome was positive. Why contact the doctors for 15 years for doing their job? Move on and enjoy your healthy child
