I loved this MS and every query was a pass, no fulls. I didn’t write for 2yrs after. If I could go back, I’d tell myself what no one else would tell me: be sad. it fucking sucks. But the only thing you can do about it is Write A Better Book.

it isn’t enough for the audience to just project onto it. You reading it as satire says something about your worldview, but it doesn’t say anything about the creators. In order to prove it was satire, I would want to see in-text proof that this was intentional and there isn’t any
