Yes, vegan diets are lacking in a lot of nutrients. But a vegan diet is a permanent and long term thing. Orthodox Lent is only, what, a couple months? The body will generally be fine during that time.

It's pretty much as my nutrition class taught me, there's no food that is just "dangerous" and should be restricted 100%. That's paranoia. There are foods that should be eaten sparingly, like stuff with high saturated fats for example, but nothing to be just avoided entirely
I have a feeling that seed oil scare is literally no different than sugar scare or fat scare or yolk scare, and is probably pushed by olive oil companies to boost their sales

Ngl this is part of the reason I don't want a hospital birth when we have a kid. Not only expensive beyond all reason, but I just don't want an entire team up my ass the whole time during such a personal and vulnerable time as giving birth. Not my vibe in the least.
Genuinely baffled some of yall think postpartum moms should just shut up and endure poor treatment because the saint nurses and doctors know best. Every woman I know has a story of the nightmare staff when she gave birth. It's not rare.
