Michigan finds its identity, Altmyer shines under the lights, & Memphis stumbles in a surprising upset.

Think it's fair to have CSU as a top 5 MW team. I still think there is the potential for them to surprise people and potentially compete for the conference championship by the end of the year. I got them as one of my top G5 who could surprise:
Here's the official HERO Sports Preseason Group of Five Top 25 Media Poll 🔥
Boise State, Memphis, Liberty, App State, and Tulane are in the top five spots
@RandyR358
Golesh has USF on the rise w/ the Bulls being the only G5 team in the top 50 for the '24 recruiting class. Brown & Atkins are dangerous & I can see 9 wins & a potential conference championship berth for USF. Don't sleep on true frosh Brandon Winton either
Spencer Danielson says the QB battle will be decided in the next few days. Will talk to coaches, decide on who gives them the best chance to beat Georgia Southern.
BREAKING:
David Sanders Jr. has committed to Tennessee!
Sanders, from Charlotte's Providence Day HS, is the best O-tackle in the country.
He picks the Vols over Nebraska & Ohio State.
Tennessee continues to kill it in recruiting.

I wrote a brief piece on why I believe the reaction to

Week 2 is wrapped up, and there’s plenty to unpack! Upsets, close calls, and some pressure on some coaches—here are my key takeaways. 🏈🗒️
What stood out to you?
Fran Brown and Kyle McCord have played two games together. And everything around the program feels different.

I agree- I think we see Herman and the Owls go bowling this year. Manageable schedule I think sets up well for FAU. I wrote about them as one of my G5 teams to surprise this season

Really fun game last night! Even though Kinne & TXST came up short, they made a strong statement to CFB fans—they're a legit program. Plus, I was also impressed with Dillingham at ASU; looks like he's quietly building something special in Tempe. Two exciting young coaches!
I know it's early, but after this weekend, the
@Big12Conference
is wide open with 9 of 16 teams starting 2-0. Some teams might not be as strong as we initially thought, but the conference is up for grabs.
Who are you most confident in heading into Week 3?

I have Marshall as one of my G5 teams that may surprise! Brought in a solid transfer class. Really looking forward to seeing their offensive with Seth Doege calling plays. I think they should get to a bowl & potentially hit 8/9 wins

I like the Huskies this season. Mora & the Huskies had 4 one-score losses last year. With a manageable schedule and a stretch of 6 winnable home games, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go bowling this season.
