While in the @codball last season, Kirn worked on his fastball and changeup mostly with the Harwich Mariners. He worked tirelessly against D1 hitters while in the Cape Cod. He will be a name to watch for as the starting rotation comes alive later in the year for WVU
LHP Griffin Kirn, who transferred to WVU from Quincy, will likely make a push into the starting rotation for WVU this weekend. Last season Kirn worked 78 IP, 96 K, 25 BB and allowed only 30 R for Quincy. Went 7-1 and worked a 3.00 ERA.

I can confirm the report from @codball that Carson Estridge RHP from @WVUBaseball, will join @FalCommodores in June. Last season he appeared in 21 games, made 4 starts, went 1-2 with 4 saves and a 3.21 ERA, has 48/20 K/BB ratio and had a 1.31 WHIP across 42 IP for WVU.

Big 12 ⚾️ news: I can confirm reports from @codball that OF Evan Haeger (@EvanHaeger) from @UHCougarBB will head to @FirebirdsCCBL this summer. Haeger did not play last spring w/ Alabama. This past summer w/ @MohawksBaseball of @PGCBLbaseball, he had 2 HR, 28 RBI, 11 2B and 8 SB.

Big 12 ⚾️ news: I can confirm reports from @codball and others that Jack Berg (@jackberg30) a LHP from @ArizonaBaseball, will head to @FalCommodores in 2025. Transferred to Arizona from Tacoma CC where he only appeared in 12 games (5-0, 0.79 ERA) w/ 42 K across 34.1 IP.

Chris Arroyo (@chrisarroyo2022) hit 19 homers last season w/ 52 RBI plus had nine SB. On the bump Arroyo worked 62.2 innings where he had 63 K. He sits low 90s w/ a powerful slider & good movement on his changeup. Will open eyes in ACC. @Monty2740 | @Micah_CBC | @CollegeBaseCNT
UVA Player to Watch: 1B/LHP Chris Arroyo The two-way JUCO transfer has game-changing ability at the plate and will bat in the middle of the order. Arroyo has 20+ home run potential and will likely be the Sunday start on the mound as well.

50+ college baseball games will be streamed on ESPN+ on Opening Day, Friday, February 14. That’s a love story perfectly written on Valentine’s Day. The listing only goes up to 5:30 PM, but I’m sure there will be more streamed as the games come to an end from earlier in the day.
