if this helps anyone, as someone who was depressed/anxious but “functional enough” I found a lot of reasons to not “need” medication, or worried I would stop feeling - but meds help me feel more even, less overwhelmed by the emotions I have.

there’s a type of Christian girl i know who never gave herself the chance of finding love, but wrapped herself up in a protective nest of tea, cats, crafts and YA fiction.. never dating or trying to date, and not bitter about it either

especially when you’re in your 20s and should be finding yourself - what ends up happening is you trust everything he says and lose yourself - he breaks you down and implodes your life and he had no intention of supporting you the same way and I’m not sure you’re ever the same
Stop moving for these men and giving them the ability to isolate you from your support systems. Unless you’re married or have some sort of a contract protecting you in case of a break up, you do not need to be giving up your life for a “boyfriend.”
