@bettersafetynet I have also seen people flat out say "I didn't write that" and then I email them their own resume in the interview, the recruiter had rewritten it (!!!), and then they emailed their real resume and they were not close. Hired dude for a different job, fired/banned recruiter.

@SwiftOnSecurity A lot of my career has been bridging information flow between groups easily 3 SDs apart in IQ. Look here: Look at effects of IQ in daily life, like "are 40% of all people unable to understand drug insyructions" or, say, car insurance.

@tyleralley24 A long time ago, a friend had an issue with a sleazy homebuilder dumping construction trash on his adjoining lot. He complained. They did nothing. He had a friend pick it all up and dump it on the three company owner's lawns at 0400 on a Monday morning. It stopped.

@memeticsisyphus Exactly. If you point out that it is recent, a fad, of interest to almost no one, and a method to manipulate others by being selectively thin-skinned then somehow you are "weird".

@RamboVanHalen The moment we start treating the Mexican cartels as terrorist organizations everything would change. And it is so odd to treat 200 as a large number. You can really tell who never spoke to older relatives about WWII, Korea, or Vietnam.

@CaseySoftware @KoshkaBaluga Interesting you say that. Not two weeks ago I was chatting with a fellow very senior in law enforcement in a county outside of Houston and he said that if they locked up about 600 people total (about 1.5%) for the rest of their lives, 90% of the crime in the county would go away.

@CaitlinPacific Every single older woman I know swore to me back in the 80s that men forcing themselves into women's spaces would be the outcome of angry feminists forcing themselves into men's spaces. None saw that the men would be in dresses. That came out of left field.
