History Lesson: For new Big 12 fanbases chiming in on the BYU-Utah rivalry - Prior to BYU going 5-0 vs the PAC-12 in 2021 the Cougars had lost 9 straight to the Utes and 13-16 games. BYU has also never played in a BCS bowl game (aka NY6) in program history.

Experience favors Utah by a ton in terms of coaching & in the trenches.

As a Utah alum and fan of many years, I’m in AWE being 4-0 with the adversities being overcome vs. 3-4 being P5 opponents (2/3 Top 25).
